Is it not possible to replace the screen with one from a different model? I've found that so long as the screen is standard you can usually get away with that, so long as the size and connector is correct. Guess it doesn't matter much considering the condition, but still.

Location of connector, connector type, panel mounts, and size all factor in. There were no cross referenced part numbers for this specific model and the aftermarket panel manufacturers didn't seem to make a compatible panel for this model.

I have Samsung laptop model ( NP305v5a-s01FR) I bought Kingston SSD 512gb ....But the computer did not recognize it ...I'm now confused does this laptop even support ssd !

If you go into the BIOS, I'm sure you'll see it listed in the connected drives.

@@CubeComputerChannel exactly that what i did...I didt find it in the BIOS...and I connected it to my desktop computer to check if it was working (Knowing that it is new just to eliminate any doubt 😅)...and everything was fine ......thank you so much for your response and your time sir 🙏

I can only assume the customer spilt a drink over the screen and the user hadn't bothered to clean it. a shame

In spite of the abuse, this machine continues to work. I had seen it again just weeks ago... It belongs to a student at the college I work at.
