when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!

They went on and on about how the Lord truly moves through you! I havent seen you live but plan to one day if the Lord wills! Hello! I just happened to see your comment and felt lead to reply... Please hang in there. Keep trusting our Heavenly Father because He sees your son and He knows your pain firsthand. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with my son for the first time in over 3 years. He has a history of opioid drug use, drinking, schizoaffective disorder, severe psychosis, he has been in jail and spent months in a state psychiatric facility and was recently released. To say he's done a 180° turnaround is an understatement. This time a year ago, I was grieving him as though he had died. I was face down on the floor with no earthly reason to think things would get better... BUT GOD. There's so much to his story that I can't put down here but the Lord had His mighty hand on my son every step, and the light at the end of this tunnel is bright and beautiful. We're not out of it yet but the light is shining IN to this dark place and I see my God moving in ways that are not just everyday coincidences. He is El Roi, the God who sees and He SEES you my friend. Fight this battle with prayer and don't stop. Believe as though it already were. REMEMBER His promises. He leads His children through the wilderness 🙏🙏🙏

Rita, your worship has been my go-to ever since your first recording on the Vineyard cassette many years ago. You taught me how to worship in absolute abandon and vulnerability which has facilitated the deepest places of healing in my life. Thank you seems insufficient. 😊 You are loved with an everlasting love ~ I too know what it feels like to find oneself on the outside of a marriage. But I was reminded that no where in the beautiful precious word of God does He say: “life is fair.” Look away from all that would distract! Hebrews 11:2 2 [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].
