People pay attention. Nick just unlocked most worship guitar technique in a few minutes. This is the way you hang in 2 and 3 guitar situations. Plus it’s fun.

Great video! These are my go to shapes!!! Love these voicings! I find the 5th in each shape and raise it two frets, then boom the relative minor! Three shapes and I have six of the seven chords of a particular key! Currently working on my 543 string set triad voicings.

You asked of we wanted EG2 or intro to lead/soloing stuff. Why not both? I have used the WA subscription for a few years now to help learn parts, but These videos are helping me on a more fundamental level. My hands have no problem with the various shapes, my tonality is there, but I find myself struggling to know the "why" or "how" behind the parts. These videos have been helping bridge that gap and have been very inspiring.

Can you discuss right hand technique? How do you just hit those three strings when you are strumming bigger (like around 8:20).
@worshipartistry5 ай бұрын
for me, it's more in the wrist and less in the arm, when it comes to strumming (hope that makes sense) but that allows you to make smaller moves and a greater impact. You're less likely to hit the other strings you don't want to hit too. But I practiced that FOR A VERY LONG TIME haha. If you noticed at one point I used my pinky to mute a string that I accidentally hit, that's really important too, figuring out a way to kinda hide your mistakes in plain sight. So it's a combo of the wrist (less of the arm) and muting the unwanted strings. I'm not sure that answers your question, but that's what I got haha. After a lot of practice and a lot of sounding bad, it started to get easier. I just took it slowly and now I don't even thinking about it. As I'm typing this, I had to hold my guitar and really figure out how I do it haha, it's just second nature now I guess. Again, sorry if that doesn't help, but I do hope it does.
