Here is an example: In Master and Commander with Russel Crow, there was a scene when there was a storm and a guy fell overboard from a ship. The mast was dragging the water and causing the ship to tilt and take water. Russel Crow had no choice but to cut the ropes and leave that 1 man to doom. Same here. My dad is why I grew up Catholic. In the end, I had to take care of him 24/7, despite him often not knowing who I was anymore. When he was dying I held his hand and told him the people he loved were waiting for him on the other side. I knew I was lying to him when I said it, because I had that same disgusted feeling in the pit of my stomach I'd get when lying to him as a kid. That was the day God died to me.

I do! I actually find myself to listen to Christmas Songs all around the year, especially when my depression us getting stronger again. I dint know why, but these songs give a feeling of calmness and nostalgia to me, and remembering the "good old days of Christmas" back as a child makes the darkness go away for a few moments. Too bad that a close member of my own family looks down on me and ridicules me because of this, so I quickly have to skip any christmas songs when I give her a car ride to not get any snarky comment..... 😔
