I genuinely don't understand why they decided to taint the legacy of the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa and make sequels that have zero connection to the original, except for some of the actors. The original movie was a psychological thriller, also hinting at mental health awareness, while the sequels are just typical, run-of-the-mill horror movies.

the director stated that his work cant be compared to the first bhool bhulaiyaa movie because the first one is a masterpiece. he wanted to make something different and go on a different route. i think the 2nd oe was shit bekar ki casting or faltu ka story 😅

Frr! I loved the 1st Bhool Bhulaiyya movie, because of its story on mental health (disease), its comedy was top notch and the thrill was there too! I actually got scared in some parts before it was revealed that it was Vidya Balan all along and not a ghost. I don't think a sequel, or two was necessary to this masterpiece. They just ruined the whole thing with the 2nd. There was nothing scary, its just a cheap horror story. Also why are Bengalis always the ones doing the black magic? The story of Monjolika in the first was actually something. The twins thing ruined it for me. Haven't seen the 3rd yet so can't comment, but seeing clips, I don't think its any better.

The main problem with Bhool Bhulaiyaa is that they have turned it into a typical horror series, whereas, the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa was actually a psychological-horror-comic-thriller. They unnecessarily turned the whole series' upside down and at the end, made a project which isn't worth to devote 3 hours for.

Horror series? No it wasn't horror, it felt like it was filled with dozens of unnecessary scenes. It was just lame comedy tbh which is totally common in every other film. Tripti only had one scene where she wasn't sexualized, only plot was the one doing justice to it.

Both bhool bhulaiyya 3 and singham again were major hits and people actually went to see them instead of movies like lapaata ladies and 12th fail which got shoved down to OTT which indians outside of big cities didn't watched and then people say why the quality of indian films has degraded when audiences are paying money to watch worst films from bollywood

Its just the hype you know? The hype of Bhool Bhlaiyya 3 with Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. The hype of Singham 3 with almost all big name actors being in a movie. I didn't like how they compared the movie with Ramayan. Even tho they did a better job of relating to Ramayan that Adipurush, but still Singham was something I liked because of their potrayal of the Indian Police. Where did the Bajirao Singham who defeated Jaykant Shikre go? Sooryavanshi was in ATS so him dealing with terrorist I understand, but not Singham. I liked how he defeated enemies within the country, you know, the bureaucrats and politicians. I liked both Singham and Singham returns, for me Singham Again pales in comparison. Kareena Kapoor was so good in Singham returns.

Agr original BHOOL BHULAIYA re-release ho gyi na, I guess vo Kartik Aryan ki dono BB ka bhi collection record tod degi. AK's Bhool Bhualaiya, the original one is just so phenomenal, kya acting thi, kya script thi, kya story thi, kya humour tha. kya darr tha. Everything was perfect, uske comparison mei BB2 & 3 kuch bhi nhi hai.
