This re-awakened within me simular fears as I would experience in my early childhood while playing on the PS1. When I'd accidentaly boot a creepy demo, find a disturbing game on Net Yaroze, when disks were scratchy and would do a number of freaky things, just this feeling of confusion, dis-orientation and dis-comfort that leaves me motionless in a sort of bewildered fear. Also I've never seen a game that crashes to desktop but still plays noises. I think what happened was that it wanted to play a cutscene or possibly it's the audio that plays when you're being chased by a monster... but it locked up before it could load the level properly.

That's a pretty terrifying glitch... I can just imagine playing this in the dark (my schedule for horror games is always past midnight!) and experiencing this alone since I actually had recurring nightmares about my computer glitching and freaking out when watching videos or playing a game... soo seeing this really reminded me of that! I think I've figured out the ending. The game crashed but still played out in the background. Your character is dying from radiation which is why you hear that odd choking sound and all the other sounds are other NPCs and music or musical cues. That's my theory at least... Maybe I'm wrong. I'm probably wrong.

WTH with the ending? Btw though that cut scene really should be nominated for cut scene of the year for 2016 because the dance was so awesome. Oh and Jim it seems we saw next to nothing of what they are showing on the Steam page in terms of monsters or whatever in the game. I wish you would revisit this but I know you won't. :S Update: I watched a walk through of quite a bit of the game on KZbin and I have this to add about the game ... 1. Story got pretty stupid as it went along. 2. Sound, music and lighting for the game was pretty good for what should be in the game. 3. Laughing clown and dog noises were weak. Also I don't know what clowns were doing in this game. 4. Dog animations were strange. 5. Outdoors - in the game I thought there were some nice things about it but I wish it looked better. 6. Game could have used some cut scenes and close up moments of monsters and creatures. 7. Text should have been solid at all times on the screen. The see through effect was horrible. Also the word, German, was not capitalized in one spot. 8. Remove the fireworks/sparkler effects from the game. 9. If you want puzzles and reasons to hide in things you get it in this game.
