As someone who works in retail, I work at a grocery store, I've seen people steal alcohol by pouring it into a container then leaving. I've found two different empty bottles of alcohol in the bathroom when I went to clean it. I also a guy walk out of the store and set off the alarms and he didn't have a cart or bags with him. I've also seen a shop lifter get chased by security and caught, I think they stole an appliance and a bottle of alcohol. Glad no one who tried to rob the store came in with a gun, fortunately if they did there is usually a police officer on duty and they are armed so that's a deterrent to not come in and try and rob the store with a gun.
