It sounds harsh but I understand where Jeanette is coming from up to a certain point. Had a family member that passed away that I honestly did not get upset about. It's scary at first to react with such indifference, but looking back on everything she's done it all makes sense. She ruined her own kid's lives and spread so much unnecessary drama that caused people to hate each other. When she died, people reached out to each other and eventually found out that she was the cause of all the lies and drama, and worse, the cause of my parent's divorce when I was barely even a month old. It just goes to show that you can still feel happiness and relief, or even straight up indifference when someone who caused you nothing but pain and stress passes away, even if they're family.
