Yeah I know what you Mean man the Nostalgia is real, I got this game when I was 8 for the PS2 cool thing was My dad had gotten me the OG PS3 for Christmas which was backwards compatible, I'll never forget how cool it felt playing this game on my Top Bunk in my room with that Wireless Dualshock 3 for the 1st time. It felt futuristic to my 8 year old self.

The DS version of this game its really impressive actually, its an open world game with several vehicle types to choose from, including helicopters.

I dunno, ben, it did say in the mission briefing that you had a time limit after showing a cutscene of comms trucks escaping and there was a timer ticking down to zero in the middle of the screen while you chased vehicles heading to the edges of the map. I feel like those might've been clues as to your objectives, no idea what they could mean though haha. Ya big goof haha.

Bruh, i love this game, sure, nostalgia plays a part, but ill never forget getting it at gamestop as a kid and looking at tge transforming bumblebee on the cover of the case. I think for what it is its not bad. Especially for a movie game. You get to play both sides, collect items for bonus content and g1 character skins, and you get to enjoy open world free roam, to a limited degree, but still. I think its a 6/10

Close. "Transform" and "transformers" are technically generic words that wouldn't be trademarkable today. Hasbro believes that if they used "transform" instead of "convert" as a verb they'd risk exposing just how generic the word really is and losing the trademark.

I remember liking this game but I also recall having the hardest time beating the second stages I believe they were. The Scorpion stage where you'd have to destroy tanks in a time limit I struggled with a lot. And the Bumblebee where you have to stop minions from reaching Sam always got me in the end. I had the strategy of going to where Sam was then kill the enemies when they were close but the last one would take forever. I'd go trying to find them but then they'd reach Sam. I eventually managed to beat the game but I still found parts frustrating.

Me and my brother used to rent this from Blockbuster and wake up at 5 am just to play a few hours before school. No memory card meant no saving too, so the thrill of making it all the way to the big city level and playing as a fighter jet was so fun in the early morning with a couple toaster waffles.
