I think my experience with the Huda Beauty setting spray was very different from yours. I live in Scotland where it rains loads and I'm also a person who cries a lot (just a very emotional person) and this setting spray literally made my makeup waterproof. I genuinely hate they use the word setting spray for all formulas because some are fixing sprays and others are more to set powders and the Huda one is definitely a fixing spray. However, I do agree that the cloying floral old lady scent was too much. The only reason I barely use mine is that it's sooooo expensive so now basically saving it for special occasions.

with you 100% about herbivore. i had a deluxe sample of their blue tansy product. i had it for three months, never used it or opened it aaannnddd it expired. i think i was watching a tati video and she warned their products expired quickly, so i ran to my back stock, because i was trying to finish up some products before opening it and it was WRANK smelling. i was so upset at how quick that was, that i’m just not... i don’t think i would ever buy full-size anything from herbivore.

Same with the elf concealer it’s soo dry and matte even for my oily skin, and I’m used to blend my concealer with my finger and this one when i tried to blend it the coverage just flew away from my face, it gave me creases and lines that a 16 years old shouldn’t have and it drys in a powdery finish so you shouldn’t set it but if i let it like that it crease or if i set it the area looks so old and wrinkly.

That sounds horrible!! And I thought the Colourpop No Filter was bad, being somehow dry AND creasy simultaneously. And oxidizing. 😓 My fave is the Catrice Liquid Camo, but how I wish they'd improve the shade range & add more neutral tones!! The Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define in C1 is my perfect shade, but that formula is a bit thick...

Shay Monika ohh i want to try the catrice one but we don’t have the brand here, I tried the revolution one but it’s not enough coverage for my dark circles sadly so I use it as foundation and it works perfectly, as for my favorite the too faced born this way super coverage concealer is by far the best concealer I’ve ever used, it’s very full coverage, smoothing, blend easily, buildable and it stay moist and doesn’t dry down which I find perfect for covering acne and acne scars. I was lucky to find a perfect shade which is almond although they need to improve their range in terms of undertones

The complexion rescue stick foundation by Bare Minerals is extremely hydrating. It is medium buildable coverage and it is super creamy. I just really like that entire line of complexion products. I have really dry sensitive skin.

bridgidthepirateelf that one only works for me in the summer when my skin is more normal and I can set it with powder. Now when it’s winter and my skin is really dry it sits on top of my skin, doesn’t blend well, and then moves around and breaks up on me. I guess at least I know I can use it since I didn’t return it.

sincerelyalex my skin is on the drier side and I hate that foundation. I have no clue if it’s because I’ve been using a cheaper sponge (bleakley) but it will not blend. It feels okay and good on the skin but it’s very noticeable where I put it on. I should mention that I’m new to makeup so I might be doing something wrong.

If you do like cactus water moisturizer, try the yadah one! Its a korean, vegan one, super cheap, and absorbs almost instantly (which is actually why I didn't repurchase, I have dry skin and it just wasn't enough). Too bad, I loved the clear tube packaging as well.

I also hated the mini Lila. The lighter shades are fine, but the purples and blues were problematic. I like a dummy purchased the larger Lila palette thinking that would fix the issue. No... That one blends better, but disappears on my lids. It is disappointing for different reasons.

I remember the first time I used the elf camo concealer, I wore it to college. Like I didn’t even test it on my face before. But I look in the mirror in the bathrooms at the end of the day and there were huge orange splotches around my face where I put it (I blended it and when I put it on, it wasn’t orange) and it wouldn’t come off any way I tried. And I just cried when I got on the bus out of embarrassment :/

I really liked the elf camo concealer, however I would agree that there are some weird jumps in the shade range. The shade I use is too light but the next shade with the right undertones in way too dark.

I am not sensitive to scents, but the Huda setting spray smelled so bad and so strong it made me PHYSICALLY SICK. I had a migraine and nausea after using it for HOURS. Just terrible.

The elf camo concealer didn’t work for me at all. I thought the colors were weirdly named, they named super fair shades “medium” or “medium sand” and they looked like good colors for me on the outside and then I went home and it was like 6 shades too light. So I used a little less of it and it made every crease under my eye atrociously exaggerated and then it was so dry that it looked like my skin was flaming off under my eye. So I was like “whatever maybe I’ll make it an eyeshadow primer” (why I thought that was going to work beats me.) but I ended up trying that with good shadows I enjoy, and those shadows suddenly didn’t want to layer up, didn’t want to lay down, didn’t want to stick, I had a huge patch of missing color in my crease. I just hated that concealer and I couldn’t say so bc everybody and their dog loved that concealer.

I don't have a full size of ND anything but I do have other high end blushes and have swatched the ND. I am also really opposed to things that highlight texture. I don't have any issues with my mini blush and glow and find it swatches identically to the full size .... so maybe they had a bad batch?
