Disney's live action Pinocchio was really bad, and I hate saying that because I really like Robert Zemeckis. Not everything he does is great, but he's made really solid movies like Romancing The Stone, Back To The Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, What Lies Beneath, and Polar Express. I always thought that the reason The Munsters has such an over the top color palette is because it was always meant to be shown in black and white but they got cold feet about releasing a black and white film in this day and age so they decided not to.

That was because Rob Zombie wasn't allowed to do the black and white film he wanted to make, so some scenes shown on TV (Zombo and the reveal of Herman's face) were on Television, so they could be B&W. Since he was stuck with color, in the commentary he explained they were going for something like George Romero's "Creepshow", which were inspired by comic books. When Mel Brooks made "Young Frankenstein" in Black and White, he had a lot more clout, because of the success of "Blazing Saddles".

Daniel Roebuck was the best thing about "The Munsters." He actually acted like Grandpa/ Count. This film still isn't worse than Halloween 2. "WEDNESDAY" was the better adaptation of a 1960s spooky sitcom.

Dan Roebuck was definitely good, and I liked the film better then most. Wednesday was a good version of the 1990s Wednesday played by Christina Ricci, but a poor adaptation of the Addams Family. Outside of Uncle Fester's appearance in a single episode, and "Thing", there really wasn't much to say about the other family members, except for this being the absolute worst version of Pugsley, where he was turned into a coward and a wimp. Even the recent MGM feature Addams Family films did a much better job showing Pugsley as the character who made Dennis the Menace look like a choir boy. Gomez and Morticia were just so so, and as much as this Gomez may have looked like the Charles Addams Gomez, his character wasn't nearly as much fun as the way Astin, Julia, or even Tim Curry played the part.

I think Jeepers Creepers Reborn might become legendary not only for its lack of quality, but also for the perfect storm of bad ideas behind it... Pick up a long-dormant franchise that no one missed that included a built-in association with a pederast for another unnecessary reboot in a market already bloated with them and also hire the director of one of the worst movies in recent memory, most likely based solely on the fact that Iron Sky was all green screen and CGI as well. I'm not saying it is a money-laundering scheme, I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me.

I liked Morbius. I especially liked it more than The Munsters (couldn't even get through half of it) and Halloween Ends. The original Halloween franchise is my favorite horror franchise. This, "Let's retcon everything we don't like," was bullshit from the get-go. I hated all but the second half of RZ's Halloween films, but at least he didn't try to retcon the original series. You wanna change the way things worked? Fine. Just do a full reboot then. Requels suck.

It felt like that was finally Emmerich's goal with this movie, to make the most god damn awfullest movie ever. It is still very well made, big budget schlock.
