@@ajax8341 Milita in the Caucuses have access to Multicam, UCP, and many different Western and Eastern European styles of camoflauge, along with Western combat vests from Russia, UK, and NATO. I wouldn't be surprised some Militia actually ordered their own personal gear off of Amazon, you'd be surprised what Militia find off of dead bodies and surplus stores in Eastern Europe. Based off of the conflict in Ukraine. But in this Milsim, Jeff is playing as Russian special forces, who ussually have access to more Western and expensive gear.

They can also be used as a form of suppression or in some ways a kill. The way it works is that if you see a dude pointing a guy firing blanks right at you then you have to take cover or what not. But it’s mainly for cinematics

@@patrickbeebe2792 You're wrong on both accounts dog. Milsim west doesn't hire people to shoot blanks, as long as you're 21 and you get cleared by the admins anyone can shoot blanks. And has a guy brought a blankfire gun and an airsoft gun before? Maybe. But guys aren't bringing both guns and ditching one at a fob for bb guns because a blank fire gun is usually a real firearm with a BFA. MSW events dont have traditional FOBs where you can regularly return to them to replenish and the other team cant get to them. You can raid FOBs at MSW and you may never return to it all weekend, you wont leave a firearm unattended like that.

According to TACSOP, they can only use blanks outdoors and are permitted to bring a backup “replica” (airsoft) gun because if their unit goes into a building they either have to stay outside or they switch to airsoft. I would guess it’s more practical and fun to bring an airsoft gun too instead of being stuck outside

Me honestly not the best airsofter. Sometimes good days I get kills and some I just get nuked. But to me I just like playing airsoft. Good exercise and being active and escaping reality just for a bit is good enough for me. Plus meeting new friends and people. Hope you and your family staying safe jet. I was on the nato side in this battle and a pretty good amount of our guys knew good tactics but also talking to our guys a lot of our guys were new players, and our commanders would really always send in like three squads to go in for a full assault, and as my squad was a bit more experienced we would be telling guys to spread out so we’re not clumped which no one would so, they kept staying huddled in a tight ball which caused us a lot of battles, and also u guys did have like 40 more guys than us so we were pretty outnumbered

This was basically RUSFOR/REGFOR at the last Saratov. They would attack with a squad up hill against a well dug in NATO plt. They did that maybe 2-3 times with the same result each time.

I hope you get into it and have fun. The upfront price for airsoft is expensive, but once you get into it and have gear all you really have to play is the price to get into the games. A good starter rifle is around $100-$200. I would recommend looking up a field near you and then playing there using their rentals to see if you like playing or not. I don't think you've been shot yet, but I usually equate it to new players as by being stung by a bee or wasp. It stings a tiny bit and then goes away, but it depends where you get hit on how much it hurts. Head hurts of course, neck, and thigh, mostly the inner part hurts the worst in my opinion. Fingers also suck too

As a milsim player in a milsim group I must say that most of the time we do well during games, especially milsim games. But I do remember a few games when we were destroyed by the opfor, we got wrecked most of the time because we only played semi-auto while other players would not hesitate to spray a wall of bb's at us. All in all airsoft isn't a fair game most of the time would it be because teams are unbalanced as fuck or because some put more money in their guns than others. Our team didn't have that much money to put in airsoft so when we got against groups of guys with Systema PTW we couldn't do shit because our bb's wouldn't even reach them. I remember those times with frustration I must admit, being gear limited is harsh

I was on the nato team and part of the squad that actually flanked them. Our commanders dint care and we had 50 guy leave the light befor. So the video is the last fight of the game and we were tired and out tuned by at least 40 guys. Our comander also was new to milsim and had no idea where to send us. So we always ended up in small groups heading out and being told to separate. It was the worst airsoft experience I've ever had. Our squad had 35 guys to start. Last day we had 10 and by the last battle 6. Died 15 times walked 20 miles back and forth to spawn and ended up getting shot my desert fox at the one battle I was doing good. It sucked. But nice head shot man.

Colin Carnevale Keep trying milsim west. You just had a sever lack of experienced players or NATO teams. Experienced teams being TFM, GROMmets etc. RusFor usually has some pretty crazy players that take gear and fitness seriously so they’re very experienced as well.
