Worst Rated - Britannia Grand Hotel Llandudno - Back Again Has It Got Better Or Worse?

Stayed there and we had a huge room overlooking the sea. It was old and the lift was ramshackle with the power chair! It looked like it must have been stunning in years gone by.

So I haven't been to The UK since 1985 when Thatcher ruled. I was just a kid and had no idea how significant the era was!! It was before London did tons of remodeling, so the Hotels looked exactly like many of your reviews. I can't wait to cross the pond again & really take a proper visit. Everytime you show a video of a Pier - I think "How many German Bombers flew over that place?"

You got a brilliant price for your stay But the bathroom could do with improvement i don’t like that table near the bed it’s to close to the bed you done the kettle test and actually got a clean kettle!

Seemed good value and some improvements had been made. Did you try the dinner or breakfast? The views and access to pier are excellent.

Yep dinner wasn't the best not a very good selection but the breakfast was pretty good

Woohoo what a nice surprise 😂 I need to get out more 😂 love Llandudno climbed the great Orem spotlessly clean kettle oh the bathroom not good yea definitely needs a revamp you get views like that at the Imperial Torquay while you have breakfast and dinner awesome gosh it’s busy 7quid for WI-FI RIP off nah won’t be stayin there 😂 brilliant to see till the next one 😊

Good video what's ur name u have never said ! We are staying at a holiday Inn express, the room is okay it come with a basic breakfast why can't these places cook normal breakfast I want fried eggs!! Have u experience this? Cheers Daniel

The holiday inn express breakfast is one of the worst they say it's "free" but the room price is 40% more expensive than everywhere else and it's pretty low quality too. I'm Scott btw

@@wanderingwiganer yh not the greatest the coffee was so bad couldn't even drink it !! We gone to a big hotel, and the chef didn't know how too cook fried eggs how dad I said to the manger is he okay in there he don't know what he is doing , he said he's learning the guy was like 50+ lol 😂

The problems britania have is most of their hotels are just too big to police, consequently things and issues are going to inevitably go under the radar .

Llandudno is beautiful but sadly a lot of the old Victorian hotels let them down because they either arent remodelled properly or are owned by dodgy people. I speak from personal experience having stayed in several of the older hotels in the town through the years.

Yeah I know what you mean but there is a lot of regeneration happening around so hopefully the hotels are included soon

Be worse if the toilet was on the ceiling . Stayed in worse and the veiw is worth the entry fee. 👍

Its weird brittania hotels are just stuck in whatever time period they were made in especially the receptions restaurants and hallways stayed at the adelphi last july which was stuck in the 1910s and funnily enough 3 days ago just got back from the burstin in folkestone and it was stuck in the 80s

Again, window cleaner needed. Attention to detail needed. Saying that it has improved to what it was.
