I was at a Renaissance faire once when suddenly a group of Union soldiers came rushing over a nearby hill and into the camp. Everyone involved was sort of equally stunned. It turned out they were from a Civil War re-enacters event at the next campground over. Talk about a cultural anomaly!

agreed. But they wanted to make the series more "available" for the masses. Plus the writers got lazy. In the very beginning, when X was Twitter and Bill Prady was very active with the fans, we had a conversation about favorite episodes and some great dialogues/Sheldon monologues. He said some of Sheldon's monologues in the beginning episodes were over 4 pages long and it was a lot of work for writers and Jim. It was much easier to bring new actors and become something like Friends... to please the crowds and make work easier.
@gomezfriesenАй бұрын
Mmmm actually, the Reinheitsgebot of 1487 was limited to just the small area of Bavaria-Munich. It wasn't until 1516 that it was adopted throughout the whole country. Also, but more importantly, that law doesn't affect mead. The law only affects beer. It limits the ingredients of beer to Water, Barley, and Hops... and eventually, when they found out what Yeast was, they included that in the list. You think you could pass that one by a brewmaster? Nope.

This came up on my feed, not sure why but it is an American sitcom I take it? Why do Americans dress like medieval characters at a thing called a renaissance fair? Why not dress as characters from the renaissance…Shakespeare, Da Vinci, etc. There’s a bloke dressed as a crusading knight for FS. That was in the time of Richard 1, 300 years prior to the renaissance.
@davidfinch7407Ай бұрын
The Crusades were certainly not 1300 years before the Renaissance. Shakespeare would have been around in the 16th century, the first crusade happened at the end of the 11th century, so 500 years at the most, and Richard I would have been even less...not sure what FS stands for. Edit, ahh, I figured out FS...

Ah ha! Sheldon slips up. The phrase is: “The old”, but in Middle English in place of the ‘th’ was was the symbol ‘thorn’ which had the sound ‘th’ (hence the name). *The True Pentagram* “The Mathematical Confusion Zone” Why are ancient Pagan sacrifices linked to the Big Bang Theory? The struggle to achieve clarity is never-ending. One is always attempting to reclaim the clarity of one’s childhood. This is a strange gift where we become driven and ruled over by those with knowledge. This is the gift of sacred geometry in the witch’s pentagram that wards of evil whereby the lesser clarity must perform acts of magic or miracles. This is the magical inspiration of the Celestial in the Three Fold Way where the gods become constellations. The social event causes confusion in complexity. One should always be prepared for battle for the deeper meaning will destroy a person’s soul. The propensity to not ingest a fact into one’s mind is perhaps one of the truer meanings of “as above, so below.” whereby one becomes locked in a wheel of continuous perception. This human attribute is echoed in the dark nature of the forest where one may begin to see ghosts and spirits or nymphs and sprites and lose their sense of direction. It is the second hand and pendulum of the clock. It is the true shared meaning of life. It is either to create a space-time singularity or clear it from one’s mind. The Big Bang Theory only proves this trait is inherent in nature providing an interconnectedness between humanity and the cosmos. This is perhaps the true nature of God who seeks clarity eternally as the Creator himself who was Created. It is a true blessing not to be Him. This is the nature of the sacrificial dagger. It is the true meaning of complexity. -Coils of the Serpents A/B/A/C/A/B/C Note* Here, one may further understand the fashion of ancient times whereby the most complex looking person became the most feared and awe inspiring.
