my favorite kind of Phil videos right here - love watching you chase KOMs! making big watts and steep climbs look easy!

Beautiful climb. Love the live mic and the music choice - low key/volume, but epic vibe, matches the type of ride and high effort.

Great effort and what a beautiful road to climb. Box Canyon Road was where we learned how to drive the twisties back in high school driver's training. And that was 50 years ago. The next time, I'll ride it.

Just on the other side is Santa susana road just on the outskirts of Simi Valley , famous in the 60s as that was where the Charles Manson family infamous Spahn Ranch was located . Just a little history of this area

I'm really impressed by your performance. And you have a nice way talking in front of the camera. I had to laugh out loud because you put the crash in the intro.. But I must admit I skipped through the actual ride because I'm a bit lost there. A little bit of context would be helpful maybe as voice over (I don't expect you doing that during the ride of course ;) with some information e.g. how you approached the KOM, which time you planned to be in certain parts of the ride, if you matched it and how it all felt during the ride. In a perfect world you would have a map display with two moving dots, one which is you and the other one the current KOM holder. Just some thoughts!

Your climb was a work of art, Phil, and against that California backdrop, a cycling dreamland. And whenever you do well, just celebrate by wearing a Burger King crown for that feeling of being the king of something. It works for me and I don't even bother with these KOMs. 😀

@@FaiscaaaH Phil is indeed a Former Pro but I wouldn't discount newer riders out of the fight, the Washington folks were able to hang on to him for a bit. I would still love to see them face off. Maybe even Feather can join the fight.
@FaiscaaaH Жыл бұрын
@@Xhadp we know that Phill stands for clean sport, if you known what I mean 😉 this is regarding the Washington event. Regarding the rest, just take this into consideration Phil is doing numbers (raw power, and power to weight) that many pros can't. What you see is what you get, 420 - 450 watts ftp is everyone dream but just a few can get it. But I would love to see a Ventoux Phill vs Mr. Feather (this guy is another real life monster).
