I remember talking to Steve Tilford when he was your age and still racing for Specialized. He said that every year he lost a little bit of power, which was counteracted by his continuously increasing skill level. He was talking about mountain biking and cyclocross though. As a roadie you might be screwed.

Black bibs are the best! Picked up three pairs black friday and gloves which are nice! Also the socks are good! Like the kit this year. Chamois butter ftw! Need to get the protection kit for my tarmac SL8. Also waxed with Silca it's awesome.

I can confirm Black Bibs are the best bike kit brand for every purpose. The gillet/vests are my favorite. Very packable and warm.

I read the description about hating on bicycles. The reason I have such a deep dislike is because so many in my area regularly blow thru stop signs and red lights. If we have laws that prohibit mopeds for being too slow and ATV's for not having lights or turn signals, what is the difference for bikes? In my area, we have roads with no shoulder, 50mph and blind curves. I dont ever want to be responsible for hurting anyone. The only thing I dislike more than bicyclists are dirty cops.

Last time I flew, I was literally so close to 50 pounds if their scale couldn’t differentiate the difference between 2 50 pound bags weigh 100 yet individually one weighed 51 pounds

Those are all good stuff. Practical products. Love the orucase. Saw you vid many times on that and settled on orucase. Due to the case, I’ve learned how to break the bike down and rebuild. I’ll buy the case just to lose fear of breaking down the bike. 😊

Man I wasn't going to talk about this in the intro clip because there are real things to complain about, but I was using Riverside to film this (the text transcription is helpful on videos like this), and somehow the mic and the camera came out of sync on a lot of it. It was re-shoot a video that had 3 hours of raw talk time, or try to fix the audio which ended up taking longer than that. Trying to figure out if it was the software, the camera, the mic, or my wifi that caused it. If I wasn't living in a literal nightmare at the moment, I would have called that situation a nightmare.
