@murmsuniversalrobotics39383 ай бұрын
@@flashnmb1 lmao, I was 15 when that came out. It's all skewed in stupid ways, with middle seat space and road noise somehow trumping everything else. A company can make the quietest SUV with the most amount of space, but if it's a gas guzzling beast with a ton of blind spots that breaks down every three months I'm not going to buy it. I'm not a huge fan of SUVs in general, and I wish well designed minivans and wagons were more prevalent. If I needed a ton of space for my family I'd buy a van that allows me to see a kid playing in front of it. Companies don't have to adhere to the same safety regulations with SUVs which is one of the reasons there are so many, most of which have terrible safety issues like roll overs and poor crash survivability.

Another true fact, Toyota went back to the rear solid axle for the current Sequoia(mostly to save cost), which explains the smaller third row. The last generation had an IRS which made the third row roomier.

I know what you mean, I'm in Japan right now and the Suzuki Jimny is the only thing that makes sense to call a genuine compact SUV as it is kei sized. A proper body on frame SUV not some subcompact class car on stilts and is overpriced. These cars are such a farce because they're a subcompact experience, with a fake SUV influenced body and a compact car price. In return I get to sit 2 inches higher but waste more fuel money moving a slower, worse handling, cramped mall finder. I get the government sheets for a few of the Hyundais and even Hyundai via government data has to tell me the Venue is worse for the environment and for fuel than the bigger more powerful engined Elantra.
