So after noticing a few peoples more "critical" comments, I felt the need to clarify a few things about my relation to CTR. While I am still a big fan of both Nitro-Fueled and the original game, I will admit that I'm not what you would consider a hardcore competitive racer (in fact I dare say I can't think of any competitive games that I'd consider myself a Pro at). Because of this, I'v based this list around which tracks I feel are the best for both casual and competitive players. I understand that if I were more of a professional player, my views on each track would likely change immensely, but I wasn't at the time of this lists creation, I'm still not now and not to sell myself too short but I have little faith that I will be making any huge leaps any time soon. All I can say is that everything here is just the opinion of a simple gamer, who really enjoys this game.

Some I can agree on but the position of Thunderstruck seems incredibly low, like you can get some pretty good speeds on it, it's aesthetically pleasing and it's better to drive around the swinging spikes. Was kinda confused with positioning Crash Cove and Tiger Temple being so high with them both being relatively simple tracks.

I have to say, I didn't expect any of those positions, is incredible how all those tracks speaks to people different ways. Comparing my tracklist I determined that we have common grounds (Dingo Canyon and Dragon Mines on the bottom, some simplistic tracks in the middle) but I saw how you have put many long/hard track in the lower positions while other basic tracks in the higher ones. Honestly, the whole top 10 surprised me a lot (Blizzard Bluff, Slide Coliseum, Tiger Temple.. they are all tracks meant to introduce the player to the good stuff imho). On the other hand, Thunder Struk, Oxide Station, N.Gin Labs, Android Alley are incredibly lower than the position I gave them in my list. Really interesting position, since I play CTR for at least 10 years, I didn't know what an intermediate player could think about certain tracks

Plot twist! I actually did spend a good amount of time with it back in the day, plus it being available on PS3 helped when I lost it and a bunch of my other PS1 games. Still though cheers for the compliment.

What people dont understand with inferno island is it fits with the story of nitro kart as the first area u play is called terra which is like earth however is not earth as krunk says aswell as velo hence why they look similar

Dude, this was a really interesting video and you have a very nice narration style to your videos. Definitely interested in seeing more of these worst to best videos. And personally, it's hard for me to argue with or give criticism on what you ranked since this was just your opinion, and what you look for in the game is gonna be different than what I look for in the game. However, I do gotta say, as a total newbie to CTR, I love Electron Avenue and it's probably my favorite track because as a beginner, it has felt like one of the tracks I've learned the most from, so I appreciate it a great deal. As for my favorite tracks (since I find myself hard pressed to rank all the tracks given how many I like a lot or just like alright) -Crash Cove is a fun starter course -Tiger Temple is a lot of fun due to all the jumps and the shortcut -Papu's Pyramid's become a favorite now that I understand the shortcuts -Polar Pass definitely ranks higher than Blizzard Bluff between the two snow themed tracks, but I just kinda like both -I love Hot Air Skyway's aesthetic, at the very least, and it's a decent track otherwise -Android Alley is another favorite just due to personal experiences with the first Grand Prix event leading me to playing it way more than I needed to since I thought a challenge based around beating a time was way under what I was getting before realizing I was beating the time every go around -Tiny Temple is a fun one, but the N. Tropy time can go take a long walk off a short pier -Meteor Gorge is one that's kinda grown on me after learning of the shortcut near the end -Barin Rions was one of the first tracks I felt like I actually got good on, so it's up there for me -Assembly Lane is another one that's grown on me as I've gotten better about playing it and knowing the shortcuts -And Twilight Tour, as the first bonus track, was a lot of fun and I really enjoy it. Prehistoric Playground is amazing aesthetically, but not sure how much I like the track. But it is growing on me And just not a fan of Thunder Struck and Dragon Mines is a real drag, definitely. Hyper Spaceway also is underwhelming, but for me, again, no frame of reference since I never played Nitro Kart. It's just kind of a boring track where the shortcuts don't feel very satisfying and more stressful. Also, kinda sorta on the fence about Sewer Speedway because I have had a LOT of trouble learning the shortcut, though I have been getting better at learning to take it consistently, and I've always loved it aesthetically, so it's edging further on to the good side of the fence.

THE MOTHERFUCKER No, I'm not kidding you because a five minute track sounds... What's the word... Tedious given how often the track is picked online. I never played CNK, so I'm judging it based solely on what CTR-NF has. And what it has, from my perspective of only having played this version of the track is favorable due to liking the aesthetic, the track design, and not being bothered that a track actually got shorter for the sake of it not being tedious on repeat playthroughs.

Video's pretty good! You might want to have white text with a black stroke or a drop shadow instead of solely black text at around 1:41 mark , found it a bit hard to read on the eyes. I like the short explanations of each number. When I saw 31 tracks I was like oh jeez, but I think it's pretty well done in order to get all the tracks in 14 min. Keep it up!

I like Dingo Canyon the best It was the only level you could play in splitscreen on the demo disc and the only game I ever played with my grandad on the PS1 when I was little :) Edit: 2nd is Papu's pyramid 3rd is Oxide Station Edit #2: Know what made me quit CTR? The fact it stands for "Chance Team Racing" as that's all that factors into winning, just pressing circle. Also the fact that you literally spend more time loading than playing the game. Calculate it, its fact.

I think they should have made a track where in the first two laps you go the same way BUT on the third lap they make you go another route. Sonic all stars racing transformed did it with their classic haunted house track. (I forgot the name)

Oxide Station should be higher. Requires a fair bit of skill, but well laid out for its place in the story mode. Roo's Tubes is far too simple. Aesthetically it's very good, but the layout is bland.

Number 25 was the worst track in the game in my opinion because of like you said how awful the darn turning areas are -i am not even kidding you that I wanna give up on even playing that stage and it sucks because I have tried figuring out how to turn those awfully placed turns but it just won't work. stayed in training for freaking an hour and still cannot figure it out even went to arcade, it was just bad -i just do not think I can play a game that gives out tracks that aren't fun like the rest (as of right now I do not know of the rest of the tracks only this one I hate the most). A track is supposed to be fun not difficult to a point of annoyance.

By the time you try the developers time trails tracks like deep sea driving would definitely not be that high on the list, and I don’t understand how slide coliseum is higher that tracks like Ngin labs and dragon mines on the list, but it is your opinion in the end. (my favorite track is Ngin labs btw)

I actually like a good challenge and dragon mines isn't THAT bad, but I just hate oxide station- Also I feel like your strategies in these tracks needs a little work as once you really get the drifting mechanics, some of your lowest tracks will become way better (example: Hot Air Skyway)
