I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this line! The only ones I don't own are; (Jetform) Shatter, (Car form) dropkick, Cliffjumper, rumble, and Soundwave. I am so glad I got alot of these when they came out, and a few of them I traded for. Can't wait for Skywarp. I didn't like wfc tetrajets but this new take on the tetrajet I loved the hell out of.

Very fair, and accurate ranking vid. While I really only started with the SS ROTB figures I did early last year get the SS premium release of Voyager Prime. While not perfect, he is still a phenomenal movie Prime, and other than the lower legs really not holding together all that well not a lot to complain about. Really like the latest Concept Megatron, and Cybertronian Shockwave. Other than a few missing points of articulation and simpler engineering the size, and plastic quality feel great almost Leader quality. Definitely want to see a SS update for Shatter, and Dropkick at some point.

I recently got the SS Bumblebee Wheeljack in a two pack with 86 Perceptor for $19. The figure kinda baffed on me cuz of the transformation, but after a few days of transforming it back and fourth. I have to say this has to be my favorite Wheeljack figure (Perceptor was okay and I needed to replace my Kingdom/ ER Wheeljack cuz that figure is just not really nice to handle)

Honestly I think Rachet and Ironhide look great. They're extremely on brand for their characters. Both are consistently shown as bulky in all forms of media, and I'm used to seeing them that way, so these two versions look quite natural to me. Possibly the best looking figures for the character outside of MP. And as with all things, just a touch of shading makes anything display worthy.

1:03 bUT if you put the work in it’s actually one of the coolest looking figures ever. Coolest head out of the shatters And you can glue the fenders to the shoulder pads and actually have them accurate (you gotta snip the windshield ports into clips but otherwise it’s the easiest mod and the first I ever did and I swear it’s because you had the fenders on the shoulders in one of your videos. Definitely try gluing bc god knows you ain’t reselling this one and then drop a bit of superglue inside the ball joint of the shoulder and spread it around with a rlly small paintbrush and you will be so much happier) lots of words but I actually really feel for the honor of this figure it’s a cool ass car and the robot honestly has some sick leg details even if they have no outward range lmao

One day, purely by chance, I saw Studio Series #93 HOT ROD while I was shopping in target. I get to the frozen food section, grab something or other, then started heading to the checkout. 2:36 yea Ngl people hating on the VW deluxe bee really pissed me off because the doors were super last minute and nobody would’ve ever batted an eye. They put buttloads of work into that figure and to this day is still the only ss bumblebee that felt properly poseable. All the bayverse ones had shit feet and so did the rotb one (just ankle tilt is no bueno give me the uppydowny motion or all they can do is stand hand on hips and shit )

It really bothers me that in the hype and massive marketing push for the new movies, Hasbro has this really nasty habit of slapping together and spitting out the Studio Series figures for the new post-Bay live action movies. As we can see from this list, the main characters of the Bumblebee 2018 movie - Bumblebee, Shatter, and Dropkick - were really shafted in terms of their Studio Series releases and it's such a pain because the designs of these characters in the movie were amazing! Despite RotB not being included in this list, I still want to point out just how wack the Studio Series releases are as well. First off, almost all of them is not even remotely screen-accurate, all based on concept art; Arcee was absolutely shafted by being Core class, Nightbird is kibble-tastic, Mirage's robot mode was completely gimped in favor of appeasing daddy Porsche with his car-mode, Battletrap's arms stick out in such an ugly way in both robot and alt-mode, Optimus Prime being a Buzzworthy Bumblebee exclusive was hella uncool and his truck bed is just gross, and... Pablo... ugh... the Pablo figure is actually pretty faithful to his on-screen appearance, but that's the one character whose on-screen appearance you *don't* want as a SS figure... Also, I personally love Bumblebee transforming into a VW Beetle, and I'm disappointed that, to this day, there are no really good, modern-quality (think Generations Legacy levels of quality) figures of Bumblebee which turn into a Beetle; MP-21's robot mode is kinda dated and aftermarket MPs are way too expensive, MP-45 is just mega-trash, Earthrise Bumblebee parts-forms (annoying) and is hard to find let alone get ahold of, SS-18 Bumblebee is kibble central and (like a lot of early SS releases) is kinda really jank, and the upcoming SS/86-19 Bumblebee doesn't even turn into a Beetle! It makes me sad, man... Sorry for the nerd rant, but man, Hasbro really dropped the ball with a lot of these new movie characters/designs and I am just so, so disappointed. At least that SS-38 Optimus Prime and the Cybertron scene characters are still amazing, and the dedicated Bumblebee 2018 concept art figures (Megatron especially) are so badass.
