RS3 done. The S4 is a conservative sedan, in a shrinking market. It wasnt designed for the hardcore enthusiast, rather a business person or individual that wants the anonymity but still have a slice of pie when desired.
@JulezWinnfield4 жыл бұрын
What is a "hardcore enthusiast" exactly? Since the overwhelming percentage of owners aren't professional racecar or even track rated drivers, this car should more than meet the performance needs of its owners.
@kennynunez67924 жыл бұрын
J High It is meant as a broad stroke of the true car enthusiast. A person that values the essence of pure driving, regardless of the badge on the vehicle. Someone who eschews the ordinary and accepts nothing less than a singular connection to man and machine.
@JulezWinnfield4 жыл бұрын
@@kennynunez6792 Oh, okay. I thought you meant somehow who just likes to drive really fast. Your description makes it sound like a true car enthusiast is someone who achieves near orgasmic levels of pure bliss while driving🌋🌋. I must've been driving the wrong types of cars all these years.
@xFlared4 жыл бұрын
@@kennynunez6792 There are many car enthusiasts with varying preferences. Be it going fast, track driving, or just simply having a vehicle and admiring it. The term "enthusiast" is broad and has various applications on a broad spectrum which in essence will always be valid as long as some sort of obsession to cars exists. A person who decorates their vehicle with fake pieces just for looks because they like it is no less an enthusiast than a hardcore track driver with trophies. In addition there are car enthusiasts that never had a car in the first place.

Not sure comparing this to a C8 is a fair comparison. The S4 is a "do it all" car. I know you don't get winter where you're at but try driving the C8 in snow.

As much as I am an Audi fan, I wish they’d bump up the power to compete with the M340i. I know it’s possible with a tune but it’s be nice to have extra power under warranty.

Counterpoint to the C8 comparison: this car has four doors and five seats and, overall, more practical utility. It can do more...while being damn quick in a straight line. So you lose some performance, but gain mucho utility.

Admiral Ackbar lease is the answer
@xFlared4 жыл бұрын
@@mikaelmilnikov I will never lease a car. I'd buy used always. For the amount I lease 1 car for 3 years I can pay off a used one, sell it, and get more than half of the value back to reinvest into another car. Plus it's not really your car. You rent it. I know this is superficial from my mindset, but I feel much better knowing that I own a car that I wanted, instead of borrowing it and babying it for the used market. The experience itself is more impactful and lets you appreciate almost any car you have, even if it's a corolla. While leasing is almost like renting a car for a day. A regular guy can rent a Ferrari for a special occasion. But the experience of owning one is completely different.
