In terms of looks they both look good but fit is extremely important. That asos one would most definitely look bulky on me while the kooples would fit/mold to my body. I’m short and skinny so fit is usually the determining factor for buying something. I just ordered a premium real suede biker jacket from ASOS and will do a review on it once I get it.

I just bought the H&M version in faux suede and it was a great value considering it’s not going to be an everyday wear. So for $70.00 I couldn’t pass it up. Was I planning on buying a Moto jacket? No, but it was my size and the right steal of a price. I liked the no nonsense look about it. I own expensive stuff too, but had to buy this. Concerning Blake’s jacket, he said it was stiff at first and this is what I’ve run into before with actual suede. This faux suede is washable and will age nicely in the future, based on my experience. Whether ASOS or H&M, you really can’t go wrong with this more practical version, imo.

You can get a genuine suede jacket for 200 bucks, or 150 if you are lucky, I don't see the point in spending 1000 bucks. So, I vote for George :)

I got my understated easy rider over a year ago for around 550 and i wear it almot every day from walking the dogs through the woods to a day at the races it litterally goes everywhere! I cant stress how highly i reccomend understated

Well, I think the cut of the jackets is usually fittable if it´s chosen the rigth size. Both of two give elegance and personality... Also, if you wear them with another nice elements or accesorie as mentioned it will be cool. With a thousand dollars I just buy a big variety of great options to look nice either.

I think after seeing the difference between faux suede and real suede in person, I can spot a faux piece anywhere. As everybody else is saying, though, you can get real suede for waaaaaay less than $1k.

yeah i mean it depends.. i would be pissed off to clean a suede jacket and be careful to not F**k it up.. i have 2 real leather biker jackets and 2 faux suede jackets .. its the waterproofnes & the easy to clean .. points against suede..

Do you agree that you should go down a size for a thin suede jacket? It doesn't even have to close properly I believe because you can just wear it as an open shacket type of thing. Seems to look better slightly more fitted is my point.

Gent's Lounge I would say so. You know I was looking for white sneakers and heard a lot of good things about Greats and against my better judgement I purchased them and hated those shoes. You can’t compare common projects and greats the difference is far too great in feel look and so on. So when I see suede jackets I see the quality and the potential to be passed down to future generations. If you buy smart and purchase the better product instead of doing the fast fashion trend you’ll be doing the world a favor. Great content though. Suggestion if I may...try the Grand Frank suede jackets.

both of you look great in these jackets. and they don't look their price. i wouldn't guess 1000 or 100. maybe around 3-500 haha. but yes, they don't look 900 bucks different. but what i would say is that george's jacket fits better on him than blake's one does. i am not a fan of the biker style, if i were any of you, i'd go for the simpler motocross style leather jacket. cheers!

I would buy the $100 jacket. I've got better things to spend $1000 on and I have 3 Motorbikes !!!! You could buy 10 cheap jackets for less money !!!! The cheap jacket looks better, and is a better colour, and is warmer !!!!! It's probably waterproof too !!!!

If you take care of your jacket i will last forever. Bought a leather jacket when i was 18 for 300$, the original price was 600$ so i got a good deal. Anywho's, I'm 34 now and it still looks like i just bought it. I rub it with minkoil once a year and it works wonders. You get what you pay for

Suede biker jackets will NEVER look good, unless you're a copy/paste skin-fade skinny jean wearing 20-something. You get a bomber or a blouson. I could tell a mile off at how cheap that Asos jacket looked tbh. Just looks poorly tailored.

Saint Laurent is garbage compared to Schott, Vanson, Aero, or Real Mcoys. Lambskin leather is the worst kind of leather for a jacket. It's not durable.
