WORTH IT??? Reviewing U-Beauty Resurfacing Compound

I'm so happy to see more reviews of this product. I looked for them back in Jan and Feb and there were no useful ones. I did end up buying it in March and have been using it since. For the first month and half I used it 2x a day, since May I've only used it for the night. I can't say I've noticed any thing amazing as all the reviews on the page rages... but I will agree to soft skin and *maybe* even skin pigmentation - i say *maybe* cause I've been in quarantine indoors for way too long and can't really credit UBeauty for it without my normal pre-quarantine routine days. I use Belif moisturizer and have no pilling experience. I have yet to try sunscreen. I do agree with that the price you pay for is not worth it... especially for how long I've used it and it has not been impressive. Hopefully by the time I finish my bottle, I'll see more improvement. I don't plan to continue using it when I finish it. Thanks for your review!

I'm so glad this was helpful. I think something that really affects the results is if you already use acids, retin-a, etc. I sometimes forget that when I see these AMAZING, miracle claims. Thank you for sharing your experience!

@@binkibeauty1108 ah yes, I did miss that info in my first post. Mine skincare routine is really simple: youth to the people face wash followed by Belif moisturizer and Belif eye cream. No other exfoliating, acids or retinol products. I've been looking to expanding my skincare routine how I picked up UBeauty (especially if it's supposed to have all 13 in 1!).

Thank you for your review. I bought the 10 ml / .33 fl.oz. u beauty resurfacing compound a few months ago but didn't start using the product until a few days ago. As of right now, I'm not too impressed. I actually think it makes my skin look dull. I'm still undecided but I may finish it just to see if my opinion changes. However, unless I see a drastic improvement over the next couple of days, I'll most likely discontinue use. I am certain that I won't purchase it again as I personally think it's pretentiously overpriced for what it is ingredient-wise.

Thank you so much for your input on this product. I am an esthetician for 23 years. The reason the product pills on your skin when you put something else on it it's because it sits on top of the skin it does not penetrate in so that means it's not doing what it says it will. That's when you realize a product is not doing this job once it starts peeling off because it's a sister on top of your skin doing absolutely nothing. Again thank you for making this video

Thank you for explaining this! I had a salesperson tell me that it was pilling because it was lifting dead skin and I was like "no."😂 That's not what it says it does or even that there a possibility of that!

I got a sample of this resurfacing product and I did not have the pilling affect. I actually am having a decent experience with it. What I've done is, cleanse the skin, gone over it with be a toner or glycolic acid ( from the ordinary) and then wait for my skin to dry, then I've applied the serum on and let it dry before I go in with any other serum/cream. I appreciate your review, as it is a luxury priced item so I'm looking for honest reviews. 🙂

Than you for your review! The serum came out last winter around October if I remember well. I got mine in November a month later because it was sold out and funny enough I had the same unfortunate result. It just peels. During the day I felt my skin itchy and I only had the serum on. Hours after applying it. I rubbed my skin and the product peeled. Another day few minutes later after application same peels. I guess it’s the kind of thing we aren’t suppose to touch 🙅🏻‍♀️ definitely saw an improvement on my skin texture/color but nothing major. Plus I wasn’t coming from far and I don’t have skin problem except visible pores (no improvement on that) and texture skin (it helped). I don’t feel it is worth it for it price. Plus the packaging is very cheap too (plastic). Very disappointing, will not purchase again.

Try using it as the last thing in your routine. Put it on top of your night cream instead of underneath it. I have tried this with products that pill and it seems to work. I would also recommend keeping this separate from your retinol as the serum has acids in it that make your skin sensitive to retinol. Try using the serum only in your morning routine if you want to keep using retinol at night. Good luck! I hope you can get some good results from this product.

@@binkibeauty1108 I've also seen others use the resurfacing compound first, and then let it dry for a few minutes before patting in moisturizer or face oil over the top. Hope you can find a way to make it work! Not a cheap product, would hate for it to go to waste.

Hello! I haven't tried the Glycolic serum from Drunk Elephant. I know that the U-Beauty is a combo of retinols and AHAs (among other things). Personally, I think having both of these in a formula can lead to a lot of sensitivity. You might try alternating DE glycolc with a vit. A product!

@@rolandomedina794 oooooooh! In that case you really wouldn’t need the retinol. Tret is definitely the gold standard ✨🙌🏻 Maybe try alternating. I know that some derms say it’s ok to use AHA in the morning, with sunscreen of course 😊

I use Primera, their essence sounds promising and will arrive soon to use as my nighttime routine. It has Niacinamide, read about it.😊 I also get products from Peach and Lily, I use an Essence that has Lotus Leaf, the snail repair cream helps reduce acne overnight! 😊

It sounds like you are trying to use these products with cheaper products lol How bout you try the line and judge it after you are done 🤷🏿‍♀️😊 I wouldn’t mix U Beauty with anything just to see if it penetrates

Thanks for your comment! The products I was using at the time of this video worked for my skin and this was something I was trying add in. Price has no bearing on penetration of a product. I’ve tried other products from this line and they actually give me hives 😅 So overall it just wasn’t a good fit for me.
