More important than these tools is to cleanse properly... water is your best friend when cleansing. You actually need to wash your face.

@@thischannelispointless I got super dry and sensitive skin and after years, I found that she loves to be treated if you know how: using soaps without sulfates (I love the Avene and Cerave ones) and an "hidrolato" (I don't know how to say it in english, it's an natural infusion or juice like rose water for example, my favourites are from melissa and aloe vera) instead of the tonic. The aloe vera one it's also really nice before the solar cream.

That's not always the reason. She said that her mother/grandmother fed her well as a child and early TLC and hydration. I think we (USA) are always starting anti aging skin care in our early 30s. Chinese Japanese, Korean's start in infancy! There are some YT vids of (Asian) infants getting the best skin care that Ive ever seen. Look them up and that's why they have the best skin.

You want to use the oil cleanser and gel separately... it defeats the point otherwise. And you want the oil on a dry face, then emulsify it with water to get any residue off. Then follow with the gel cleanser on a wet face. No need for the micellar water 😊 also you don’t need makeup wipes if you’ve cleaned properly!

Combining the gel and oil cleanser is a no it’s called a double cleanse for a reason. Oil is going to block all the exfoliating acids and good ingredients in the cleansing complex from going into the skin, literally throwing your money down the drain.

Mixing an oil and gel cleanser like that seems a really bad effort at saving time. I get it, oil cleansers can add a lot of time to your skincare routine and needs a lot of water to rinse off, but I don't think I've ever seen an alternative that takes less time and does a good job at the same time. She used 4 products in a way that's likely to irritate her skin when she could've used 2 and been much gentler.

i see all the comments criticising her like crazy but why is nobody talking about how good she looks at her age!? the chicken feet, the bone broth, gua sha and acupuncture all work. don't belittle chinese medicine and chinese traditions. ((ok but i'm chinese and i hate chicken feet))

O Comino i don’t really want to argue with someone who looks down on a certain ethnic group because of certain cultural traditions. every culture has their “weird” or “barbaric” traditions. besides the coronavirus, i don’t recall most pandemics and epidemics originating from the chinese, so...

@O Comino omg what the heck I'm not even Chinese and I know it's a local market in Wuhan so does it give you the right to judge one billion people of an ethnic group every country has good and bad and its terrible you would compare eating chicken feet(which is done in many other cultures by the way) to an outbreak that has killed people and seperated families, frankly you most probably have a vindetta against Chinese and are using this as an opportunity to get your fix. Hmm

I questioned her face cleansing method, but hell if it works for her then it works for her. I followed her on other social media apps, and this video with the lighting causes her skin to look saggy and hollow at the same time. But from other videos, she looks amazing! Hate her if you wish, but I really applaud her for dedicating so much of her time to self-care. Sure, it cost a crapload, but she an afford it, so no hate from me. Everyone should do whatever they wish to take care of themselves.

The GOH JEN DO is *NOT* micellar water. It is THERMAL WATER FROM HOTSPRINGS IN JAPAN with BIRCH SAP. It doesn't have surfactants or harsh chemicals.

I’m surprised she didn’t use the BeautyBio microneedling roller, since she and Jamie OBanion (owner of BeautyBio) are good friends. The one she showed looks really interesting, though. I can appreciate that it has the guard on it.

What would Susan say about cleansing oil and cleanser being mixed🤔 and did she wash off the micellar water? I don’t feel like her skin is washed to the best of her ability or her products. I wish they would let us know these little steps for people who are trying to learn from these videos. BUT THE EGF Im sooooo interested but that it look intriguing, also her surfacing compound, but tightening or is it like the tightening dry feeling either way I liked the list she mentioned in it she her product she created makes me assume she’s knowledgeable on skin car but the mix of cleanser and oil? I’m soooo thrown off from that.

All that over skincare? Didn't she herself say on this channel that you do what works for you? Remember she has no scientific background.

@@Candyprincess971 "she has no scientific backround" but she does have contact and has spoke to tons of dermatologists who have a scientific backround. @@hejhej4441 and the lady in the video is a contributor for Vogue China and has her own skincare line, she obviously is in contact with professionnals as well and had a professional skincare formulator and lab create her products she doesn't just slap whatever looks alright on her face just like I assume Yara doesn't either. @@Candyprincess971 Yet she mixes an oil cleanser with a water cleanser? Which is omething that pretty much every esthetician or dermatologist would cringe at. It might not be open heart surgery, but when doing your akincare routine, you're still caring for your bodys largest organ, and you're spending money to do so, I'd therefore say to spend that money wisely.

Botox, laser resurfacing and ulthera will help her get rid of those saggy bits. To be honest she’s too aggressive on her skin which result in saggy skin and broken capillaries. All those broths and skincare products doesn’t look very helpful.

The more water that makes contact with your skin can actually dry out your skin/mess up ur barrier so using less water is smart if you have dry and sensitive skin. But it would’ve been great if she just made the washcloth damp and then gently wiped off her cleanser instead of using that micellar water by using that she should’ve definitely quickly rinsed that off!
