Peter is correct Laurence. The Huma reg is a fairly recent addition. They were having so many issues with their own regs, that they ended up switching to Huma regs for the whole of their range. He's not always wrong 😂👍

The service from Range and country is second to none I purchased a Katran from them two months ago the gun is incredibly accurate and well made I’ve had no problems with the cocking lever or double loading if you buy one you will not be disappointed

That's our aim with every video. Sometimes we feel things like this need to be addressed, and we agree, it wouldn't deter us from having one. It just takes a little bit of time to adjust to it

👍🏻 keep up the honest reviews, its good for both potential customers and as feedback to manufacturers who might be downing quality to save on production costs that this will be picked up on and honestly reviewed.

Great review, I have a krait L and it’s superb, not found it particularly pellet fussy. I do use jsb 10.34.

Thanks for sharing... From all of the AirMaks rifles we've had the pleasure of shooting this is the only one that has been fussy about pellets

I found that CZ barrels don't get on with any QYS pellet but the QYS is brilliant in FX barrels.

My Krait loves the streamline heavies but after 40yds they tend to perform poorly.

The R12 aesthetically looks awful by comparison, I’ve yet to try the Pro Katran, but been happy with the three original ones I have, none have missed a beat.

No doubt its very very good but brand awareness isn't good yet. I dont think Airmaks when i think quality gun but for no other reason than FX, Daystate etc have the brand on point. Maybe in the future than will change like it did for AGT.

Where can I get one of those rails for my Katran c? Rather than having an arca Swiss adapter screwed on? The but stick would be nice as well! My Katran loves QYS heavy so much so I bought 11 tins of same batch

You failed to amplify on this Katran if it has the anti double load function ? Which was a selling feature on the original first style of Katran also that the gun is for target work only ? Surely the compact version is a hunting light weight ?

Had a katran pro for a 10 days and i initially struggled with its accuracy but after a couple of tins its starting to tighten up its groupings nicely. I agree with lack of positivity in the cocking action but i have yet to double load and doesn't have a "click" when cocking the lever back like my Krait does. Mine seems to like Jsb heavies and exacts 8.44g but its becoming less pellet fussy with each use.

This is very interesting. As we mentioned in the video, this is the only AirMaks rifle we've shot that has been this fussy. Great to know that after some time it settles down

@rangecountryairguns5883 I've had three or so tins through mine now and its imroved no end and hitting 5 pence groups with ease at 30yds. I think some can be hit or miss (no pun intended) when there new and just need a little more leading than others.

Nothing has changed for the end user/customer... You still buy from the shop. If you order with us and we do not have what you want in stock, we put an order in with our supplier, which is now Hawke.
