Worth the Hype?! In Depth Review Mancera & Montale - Intense Pepper, Roses Greedy and Instant Crush

Good morning, Loredana. I was missing your video! Always a pleasure to hear you review. I have had my bottle of Roses 🌹 Greedy for about 4 years, I am almost finished with it. I can say I enjoyed it, it is very elegant indeed but the projection is amazing: 10 meters! I sprayed in the car, walked half a block to the office, sat at my desk, then from across a giant room, a co worker ran to me and said he felt a scent trail and was following it. No compliment but he was sitting 10 meters away, about 10 cubicles away across the room.

Eventhought I tried a lot, and it's really nice I couldn't make it with Roses Greedy. On me it was rose/jasmin plus tons of musk. It's like a floral in a cluod of musk. Not my type. Not for me. I'm a Roses Vanille girl. And I absolutely agree with you with Instant Crush. Your experience and your words are mine. I couldn't understand the hype, at first, then I hate it, and now I want a full bottle because I don't have anything like this...

Same same same, I'm definitely a Roses Vanille girl as well. That one just works really well with my skin and everything. Also it's a bit more unique than Roses Greedy (this one is a bit too light and floral for my personal taste). Since the video Instant Crush is growing on me even more, such a unique fragrance! @@lorenadibenedetti4041 I've never tried Gold Incense but judging it by what people compare it to on Fragrantica (Zadig & Voltaire This is Him - lovee it and Essence Absolue - I love it as well) seems like a really great one! But still, after my last Mancera fail (Black Intensive Aoud) I would sample it if I were you 😂

So last week I had Mancera Jardin Exclusif but I didn’t like the overly citrus opening that smelled like bathroom cleaner. It has a clone from the Ard Al Zaafaran house and it’s called I Am the Queen. The latter is sooooo much better blended than Jardin Exclusif. Also it projects more and lasts longer. I feel like Mancera Jardin Exclusif is overhyped. So I’m glad I returned it and bought I Am the Queen instead

I totally get you! I can't stand openings that are too citrusy as well, they remind me too much of cleaning products. 😂 I saw I am the Queen on some websites but I never knew it's suppose to be a clone for Jardin Exclusif by Mancera. Some Mancera fragrances are totally worth it while others are a little bit too overhyped just cause they perform very well. Happy to hear you got a better one instead! ❤️

Hey! My favorites from Mancera are Aoud Lemon Mint, Black Prestigium, Pearl, Black To Black and from Montale are Ristretto Intense Cafe, Black Aoud & Pure Love :) Great recommendation in this video!! 😘

@@Simturiascutite I agree with the Oud part. It chocked me the first time I used it, but on wearing it more, I felt in love with the dry down. On a woman that strong dusty rose is just amazing.

Hi L, it seems these are not traditional middle eastern fragrances, are they? Not very woody. I never try Montale perfumes so I don't know. I tried one perfume that I think you will love! It's Hoor Al Khaleej, by Ard Al Zafaran. It's an amazing fragrance with dark chocolate, vanilla, tonka bean, cedarwood and jasmin. One of my favorite so far! You must try this one, is warm, deep and sweet in a very balanced way. Amazing fragrance, at least for me. 😘

Hey Tamara! 🤗 They're sister brands founded by the same man, Pierre Montale, from my knowledge he spent some time in the middle east then he opened these brands in France. Some of them are great very unique and some are just meh. I never heard about Hoor al Khaleej, but judging it by the notes is sounds amazing! Chocolate, vanilla, tonka bean, cedar and jasmine? What can you want more in your fragrances? ❤️😍 Thank you for your recommendation, I will look it up for sure!

It's very possible that we both bought from the same place because only who follows this chanel knows about Majd Al Sultan! 😂 It was cheaper from Germany, but is a bit late. Sorry I hated instant crush when i first tried it..it had a horrible chemical opening. After a few months..i like it but not love it. I recently bought Aoud Exclusif. Its smells amazing. oud/rose. I also bought Pearl. I didnt know i liked fig until i tried pearl. it smells so good.

Yes, I've picked up as well that medicinal opening, it can really be off putting. Personally I really like it, but it's a like not a love for me. How is the oud in Aoud Exclusif? After I blind bought Black Intensive Aoud I came to the conclusion that I do not vibe with medicinal oud. Does it have that same medicinal oud? I loove rose/oud combos. Thank you for watching 🤗

​@@AFragrantGlance The oud in Aoud Exclusif is not medicinal at all. which surprised me. its not stanky either. best mancera so far. It smells very rich. Im also looking into precious oud. yeah black intensitve aoud has a sharp medicinal smell..glad i only got a sample of it. I love your channel and how it centers around middle eastern fragrances.

@@AFragrantGlance as much as I dislike liking something that is so ubiquitous, I enjoy Baccarat Rouge 540 but Always blend it with something yet at the end of the work day, I smell it peeking out. I have the inspired Ana Abiyedh :)I will keep trying inspirations from other houses

I like Mancera bottles better than montale, I feel you get more juice for the price with Mancera.i feel with montale you get less juice and I can tell by shaking the bottle since you can’t see what you’re getting with montale because the bottles are opaque!

Aside from this video, wanted to share I purchased a gorgeous parfum I believe Al Rehab "Kurafi" very pretty but no longevity :(((( on my skin. It is a superbly delicious opening though. Ciao!
