Albania is awesome!!! By bike you mean motorcycle? If so, yes. It's a great way to see the country because it's not so big and there's really a lot to see. If you plan to do it by bicycle of course that's great too (we saw a lot of people biking), just know that there are barely any flat roads in Albania so it'll be a great workout hahaha - Have fun and milk it while you're there!

Hi! You're welcome! No, they didn't 🤷🏻‍♀️ Actually, they didn't even stamp our passports coming in... they just ask how long we plan to be there and that's it.

I love your video. You two are cheerful but genuine. I'm curious how the car rental cash situation worked in Sarandë ... how much cash did they need as a deposit, and how much did they charge per day?

Hello! Thanks for the nice comment :) we paid 35 Euro per day for an automatic car. And I believe the deposit was around 250 Euro cash. We rented with EasyGo Car Rental near the ferry station. Maybe you can contact them and see if they take credit card now? They people there are great and we were able to chat with them via Whatsapp. Have fun!

Do you think these areas are doable as a single female relying on public transport? I'm going to Puglia this year and i'm already planing next years trip! thinking Albania before i even saw this now i'm convinced! Gjipe reminded me of Manganri beachI os greece -one of my fav beaches

Hi :) I think so, we saw a lot of female solo travelers. We felt super safe the whole time. I obviously understand it can be so different as a female solo traveler VS a couple, but we did see a lot of girls traveling alone in Albania. Have so much fun planning! Albania is an incredible country!!

You guys are going to have the best time! Albania is incredible! No, the $70 are not per day. That day we def put way too much gas. But it is very expensive! To give you some extra context, we rented cars in 2 other occasions and gas for an 8-day roadtrip was $126 (we didn't drive that much), and in another occasion we rented a car for 1 one day and gas was $12. It all depends on how much you drive and how good you are at calculating how much gas to get when returning the rental car ;) Safe travels and have so much fun!!!
