Overall, the 13 has better contrast. Not worth an upgrade from an 11 or 12 probably, but I just ordered one since I’m still rocking the iPhone 7! Gonna be a very noticeable jump for me. Macro mode sold me on the 13 over the 12 though cuz I love taking macro shots and not needing to carry a macro lens with me is super valuable. Thanks for making these videos!

Hi, I currently use an iPhone 11 Pro to take shots in a studio photography of my products (white background, cob led e diffusers). The products are chandeliers, wall lights, table lamps, floor lamps... Actually I was surprised for the quality of these pictures, thinking that I am just using a phone. Sometimes I take multiple pictures of different part of the lamps and then combine them in photoshop in a unique image to have better quality and proportions. Also in photoshop the detail is great, but of course not perfect. I would like to take in consideration to move to an iPhone 13 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Samsung S21 Ultra. iPhone 13 Pro looks great also for Pro Raw feature, which takes multi frame shots and deep learning. However the other two smartphones have a bigger size sensor and maybe they could do better under the studio photography conditions. What is your suggestion? And in case do you think that I could have better results with a DSLR around 500 euros? Are there any camera you suggest? Thanks so much in advance

I guess 13 pro max is much better than 11 pro, Samsung is not for me actually, I do have a big comparison of it with iPhone 12 Pro Max as well on the channel. Can’t say anything about Xiaomi. I also may consider Sony ZV-1 - it’s much better than any phone (also have a big comparison of it with iPhone 12 Pro Max on the channel)

Also I don't need a compact camera and I would only use it for pictures, not video, also a full frame would be great. However do you still suggest the sony ZV1 under these conditions and budget? And should I need some lenses for a studio photography from normal distance?

Only day time footage you can use professionally to me. Lowlight and night time quality degrade too much and the ghosting and flare is big no no to me.

Almost all smartphone cameras have too weak ultra-wide cameras, especially indoors and in low-light… I’d prefer to save up some money and buy a Sony ZV-E10 camera with Samsung 12mm f2 lens - you’ll get much-much better results. And also you’ll need a gimbal - check out my review of Moza Mini P (vs zhiyun crane M2). Overall this combo is a little over 1000$, but it’s 100% worth it

You can just buy ultrawide lens for iphone. It is snap on the main lens. so you get the best quality. Moment has 18mm one and sandmarc has 16mm one. I think this is the easier way to go. rather than invest in a new system.

​@@NOlimitsON ​ @NO limits ON I use my own app on Android(CameraX V). Most apps on the market do not disable extra sharpness some devices have(especially samsungs). I don't know any apps for iphone since I do not use its cameras. I cannot get usable colors even with manual tone curves.

The 13 Pro is not bad but: After seeing over a dozen reviews of iPhones 13, compared to iPhones 12 it's just: Slight decrease in saturation Slight increase in contrast Slight decrease in exposure. Slight but really slight increase in detail. In fact nothing impossible to do in post-production with your old iPhone 11 or 12. Seriously I really can't convince myself that the 12 and 12 Pro don't have enough power to handle these new software additions (cinematic mode, raw video)🤷🏽‍♂️. Especially since I am almost sure that many Android manufacturers will implement these features on their smartphones which are supposed to have much less powerful processors than those from Apple.
