The Battle Isle series is an underappreciated gem. Incubation was one of the first games I bought when I got a PC, way back in 1998! A true classic, though The Wilderness Missions expansion was ridiculously difficult.

Mac... Play Battlesector mate. It's essentially Sanctus Reach++... It's more of the same with prettier graphics... Which is something I used to gripe about, but staring down the barrel of 40 has me perfectly fine with it. Turn Based Warhammer has become my comfort zone

You should click on the add sometimes. Big part of youtube money comes from clicks. But only minority clicks on them. You can click on them and close them like in a second or two. You can click on the adds on the side of the website, when you watch his videos, every add counts as his profit, on his video. Battle Isle! Never hear people talk about these. Came into the series on the 3rd one, so only dabbled in the previous versions, but I loved that game. One of the first greats of PC gaming I had as a kid. Then they utterly killed the series with the 4th one which was completely different :(

Ah, I remember it well. Every decision so important, petrol and ammunition supply lines, very tight resources for repairing and building new units,choosing the correct unit for the job, the great fun veterancy system, making you want to save the units, as they crossed over to the next level. The cool (for its time) video which played when attacking, mobile and flying fortress, rocket tanks which had 2 range and then could move again. Ability to name units too. And of course the evil emperor. Sorry for the ramble, but yeah, great game.
