The flauta would have thrown me too. I’m used to the Mexican version which is a filled and tightly rolled tortilla that is fried. Sometimes called a taquito. Appreciate your review!

Glad to hear you mention tipping in quick service. As a UK tourist it seems pressured at quick service to tip, even at gideon's and summer house cookie bar where they literally hand you a cookie. Would it be frowned upon to not tip in those kind of places? Did you tip due to the pressure on the spot or would you always tip at a place like that. Perfectly understand at sit down meals of course.

I’m sure the person not receiving the tip would frown upon it 😂. But, it’s just a judgement call in the moment and totally optional.

I have said this once before. I really think you guys should have different criteria for quick service reviews . I have never thought about ambience or service when we go to a quick service. You guys do a great job and we really like watching your videos. Don't take this as a flame , I just don't think most people are thinking about the same things when deciding to dine at a quick service.

That’s why we separate them, anyone who doesn’t care about that part can just dismiss that rating accordingly.

We’ve never had a good dining experience at Pepe or Jaleo. Even the one in Crystal City, VA (DC area) was disappointing. May give them another shot.

had the burger in September, good tasting so not worth the cost.
