The Worx Nitro 40V Power Share 20" Cordless Push Lawn Mower is not a gimmick. It's a battery-powered lawn mower that works! Not only does it work but it works extremely well! With the two batteries installed, I was able to mow my yard with ease. Recharging the two batteries that come with the lawn mower to full takes approximately two hours. For a larger yard, a second set of batteries can be purchased. To makes things better, the same batteries work with other Worx tools too! I was hesitant to switch from a gas-powered lawn mower but in addition to eliminating the need to purchase gasoline, it results in a cleaner and less-noisy lawn-mowing experience. I still have dust and grass in my eyes and nose but at least I don't have the gasoline fumes also. There are self-propelled Worx lawn mowers too but I've found this lawn mower to be easily-maneuverable. It's much lighter than the gasoline-powered lawn mower that I used to use and I don't have to bother with changing oil, filters, etc. #Worx #Lawnmower

This is two 20v batteries and it would BARELY do this lawn, it only works if your lawn is short of course, it will stall out on minimal grass bushes. They by default give you the 4000mah batteries and you can get way better up to 6500mah (or higher) and this determines how long the batteries last on a charge. If you use the batteries up until it completely dies, they will be fatigued from overheat for an hour until they can charge again. So if you don't have multiple sets, your not doing even a medium lawn without multiple charges, heck even with two sets of batteries I don't believe it will do a medium lawn.

I mow my entire lawn with 2 sets (4 batteries total). It works great and several years later with the same batteries and same lawnmower I have no noticed degraded performance. I mow my lawn weekly during the warm months when the grass is growing. #Worx

@@IrixGuy That's great. I believe 2 sets of batteries can "do" a lawn that is cut consistently everyday, if you go away for a few months and it gets really long, you now need a real mower or you will spend 2 weeks charging batteries and stalling on grass.

Great job explaining the features of my WG761.9. It just arrived and took no time setting it up. The manuals that came with the mower were difficult to understand but your video explained all the questions I had. This model also came with a front light. Very easy to use. Thanks again.

That's cool that it has a light! I THOROUGHLY enjoying this mower and am going to post a follow-up review video soon. Mentally whenever I mow grass without gas I count it my head how many times I'll have to mow my yard to break even. It won't take long, with gas prices so high. Also, there are no oil changes, spark plug changes, etc. for this mower.

I have the self propelled version which also has a second higher mode to cut thicker grass. For anyone else looking into this and want extra batteries just buy the 8ah batteries and you will save money in the long run and have plenty of battery to switch between tools.

Very cool! This one has been powerful enough for my grass and it's so light that I don't need self-propelled. The Worx model that you have is incredible though and that's. great point about the 8AH batteries. #Worx

I still love my dirt cheap gas powered one from home depot but if it does unfortunately give up one day I’ll definitely consider one like this.

I’ve already used this for two seasons. It has already “paid for itself,” since I didn’t have to buy any gas. For my vehicles though, I’ll stick with gas-powered.

I donno, lets say your away for a month or two and grass gets girthy, this lawn mower wont handle this with grace, your gonna need a gas mower, will take you 2 weeks of charging and stalling on a little baby bush of grass to finish your lawn depending on size, and I am not joking, first hand EXP

I’ve been using their weed trimmer snd drill for several years. Both are great! Gas prices pushed me to the Worx lawnmower and I’m glad they did!
