@@highserenity49 Yeah, my Worx saw just came in today and was literally lol at the horrible manual. They don't show you how to do anything, then they have items marked with letters and numbers but there's no index saying what they are! I still can't figure out how to get the safety guard to lock in the open position.

I agree … the manual simply has a series of pictures which is totally useless for someone like me who isn’t a previous user of circular saws and doesn’t have a basic understanding of what needs to be done in order to use it safely

Hi there, @MsLeelee94, my response is a little late, but in case you were still wondering, make sure you start all your cuts by starting the saw’s motor before you engage with the blade touching the wood. If you are starting a fresh cut, just have the blade slightly behind the wood. If you feel any resistance or binding, stop the motor before you experience kickback. Then, attempt the cut again, and still make sure not to have the blade engage with the wood. Engaging the blade with the wood while you’re trying to start a cut could very likely be the reason your blade is getting stuck or kicking back. As you know this can be very dangerous, so wherever you cut, always remember that simple rule. Don’t worry, the saw will not jump out of your hand is the blade is spinning freely and no resting against wood in the beginning. I hope this helped.

Mine does the same thing. It cuts a few inches and then stops and kicks back . What am I doing wrong? And I do start the blade before engaging the blade to the wood.

Hi Wilson, WORX WX427L 6A 4-1/2" with Laser Cutting Guide and it has Blade Length 4.7 Inches, includes 3 blades with ‎4000 RPM, than the Worx WX429L Blade Length 4.5 Inches and no Laser Cutting Guide only one blade for wood. But more power ‎4100 RPM speed. Hope this will help thanks and happy holidays!

When I try to use the allen wrench to loosen the nut to attach the saw blade the wheel turns and I can’t do it. Unfortunately your video doesn’t explain how to overcome this.

Hi August, to stop moving/turning the wheel see the "Circle Red Button" at the "Side" push/hold that red button while changing the blade. Keep pushing that circle RED button to stop spinning the wheel and also while you are using the allen key to lossen/tighten the nut. It's in my video as well (3:04 and 7:20). Hope this help you. Hi Amer, angle grinder is good, but circular saw is great the best for wood cutting and multiple project cutting for metal/tile ceramic, PVC plastic and wood working using it for my personal use, angle grinder using it for metal/tile cutting. Hope this will help you. Thanks
