don't bother... they are all useless now. WG has no idea how to play their own game. Did you see the paths set in the "topography mode"? It's VERY obvious, they don't have a CLUE how to play their own maps. And they don't have a clue how to play the tanks either... or these Japan Heavies would still be deadly.

The Derp gun has an AP round now, don’t know how many people will use it but it is 152.4mm caliber so it can overmatch the roof of the 60TP and stuff like that which the Type5 had no chance of penning before.

I stopped playing WoT several years back, then relatively far in the Us medium tree in Blitz just to drop that as well. I recently started playing War Thunder ground forces, and have been enjoying it quite a bit. That being said, this video deals with one aspect of WoT that I think WT ground needs; Japanese Heavy Tanks. I usually play as Japan in War Thunder, but they have a grand total of ZERO playable heavy tanks on the normal tree and I’m not paying for a premium. I understand that WT sometimes likes to avoid vehicles without prototypes or mock ups, but by that standard we should at least have the O-I! Oh well, I’m not trying to be whiny, but the O-I is one of my favorite tanks of all time and I wish it were playable in War Thunder.

Seems WT , is not into Fake tanks. The Japan heavy tanks, were never built, except on a napkin in an Opium bar. Many WOT tanks are fake... such as the Obj 705. the tank never existed, and the gun on the 705.. well lets just say this... the tank was a concept in the late 40's and failed... and the gun is from 1968, which is 8 years past the limit WG set to limit the power of the tanks. So the 705 and 705a, are fantasy tanks, made up in a dream, by War Gaming. So, in turn, I don't think WT is into BS tanks like WOT is.

In the past two months, I've played four days. Yesterday, I went on, was in a 3-15 loss and immediately logged off. The game used to be fun. Every update, it appears to become worse and worse. I used to play a lot. Not anymore. I think the game is full of "stat levelers". If I'm wrong then they nerffed it so bad, it is no longer desirable to play.

Type 4 or 5 or E100 can only works in NA server whereby most people firing normal rounds. Asia HK server on the other hand mostly firing gold round which makes those Heavy Tanks almost useless or Feeder

The Type 5 Heavy was good for its HE. BUT you know the 60TP has better pen with HE and deal more damage . Considering &= TP has also way better mobility and its easier to play hull down... there is no reason to paly the Japanese at high tier. Tier V / VI is another story.
