i got that Mutz, when They did the Warehouse thing... I got it first. I just took it.. I seen your video on the Warehouse, and you got 3 tanks you already had... So I didnt risk it... and ended up with the MUTZ... which is NUTZ!!!

I know it's supposed to be garbage, but I always had decent games and above average results compared to my other tanks. Never hated it. I haven't played in forever so I'm totally out of touch, but I always dug my Mutz. Used to play her hull down, peaky pokey, with decent snap shots and decent armor back in the day... got plenty of bounces off the turret. It's probably garbage today after all that power creep. The first game looked like a pretty typical game for a Mutz.

A interaction for the algorithm, its a ok crew trainer for the Leopard 1 as its the same crew lay out, and it has cheap ammo, but thats the best unless you camp bush at the back. Its not to bad in frontline tho as you can use its range

So I bought one today just because this video andit's fine, just like how the stg guard is fine. It isn't an ebr fl75 or obj274a but a solid little medium tank considering its age. Play like a Leo pta and it works. I kind of like it.

I don't know, i bought this tank last year. I like it! Yes, it doesn't have armor, but so does Leo 1 at tier 10. This is kind of a Leo 1 at tier 8. It just needs a little buff to mobility (it needs a more powerful engine to get to speed) and maybe a 0.4-0.5s to reload time.

It's actually good. Great sniper/flanker. Fairly fast, accurate and HE pen is great. Just like the HWK 30.

Claus, the Mutz has fantastic HE, you have one loaded... With the HE you get great DPM and it can pen a lot of tanks with it.

Skorp G is a good German Tier 8 premium. It's best to play it when it's on offer in the premium shop or if you feel like shooting a lot of dirt :)

Its a decent choice if you re a good player. For good players i think its better than Guard. I marked it, and you have mobility and gun. You play the vision game with this tank. I think its better than Guard, or patton KR, but you need to have map awareness and map knowledge. The 212 pen is also decent. Its not super OP tank, but its better than the average tier 8 prem med. Its not a broask or progetto, but a decent choice. For me personally its far more important to have speed and gun, than armor. Armor is kinda useless nowadays. Also you can bounce shots if you re using your gun dep. I dont really care about the armor, i need speed and gun. You dubble bush, and play the vision game. I think you overreact a bit the armor part, no matter what tank you re playing if you get hit by su TD you loose half of your HP, doesnt really matter if you have armor or not 99% he will pen you, unless you re a super heavy or russian tank. With every med in the game, you will get penned in that situation.

I don't own the Mutz but I think you make great points. Lack of armor is a non-starter...all mediums lack good armor except for Russian meds tier 8 and up. Among the rest some are a little more bouncy than others sure, but the dpm, shell velocity (even on HE) and gun depression make this look like a winner. Others have said the gun handling is great too. I think this tank would suit my playstyle just fine

It's very consistent. Good results, and fun to play. It's an opportunistic fighter, poke between tanks reloads. Count autoloader shells and hit them during their reloads.

I love the Putz! It's a fabulous sniper medium. The gun handling is excellent, and it earns very good credits. Claus, you should like the Putz because it's similar play to the Leopard.

Nahhhh, like my Mutz, use it as a damage dealing scout. So lots of assistance damage, and shoot when you’re sure you aren’t getting spotted or can hide quickly. Works for me!

Play it like a Open topped TD. Snipe, Run Snipe again and Prey you can use its Gun Depression for your Benefit.

Well I don't know about german tier 8 medium premiums.... but I can tell you about one good german tier 8 light premium and one good german tier 8 heavy premium. That'd be the M41 90 Bulldog (or the lePkz M41 90, which is basically the same), and the VK 7501 K.

Mutz actually has surprising armor. Numbers might not look good but the hull and turret are both rounded which gives it some autobounce angles. You'll get a couple bounces each battle. Overall, it's a really good tank, just not particularly exciting.

I've got this tank in WOT Blitz for 5 usd or so, that's why I have it lol. It plays nice on sand dunes and wavy terrain, as the turret has nice armor, good gun too. Awesome videos Claus, I watch every day :D Cheers!

Löwe is a very good german premium tank. E75TS is a fav of mine. HWK30 is awesome and my only 3-marked light! As for mediums, the 07 isn't bad but I am. So I can't make it work. Mutz is as good as it gets for us average Joes.

I remember when you reviewed this tank a few year ago and included your replay. I like this tank but you basically get the same thing in the Indien Panzer and you don’t have to pay 8k bonds. You do have to spam gold though. The Mutz is Nutz!!!

I love the Mutz. It is a credit printing machine. Ammo is dirt cheap and you end up with a lot of 100k+ credit games. I don't fire APCR as this is too expensive so my win rate and wn8 is not too high but when I need cash . it is Mutz time.

The Mutz belongs to the old type of premium tanks, meant to be a crew trainer. And oh boy is it purfect for both the PTA and the Leopard1 crews! But agreed, the Mutz might be worthless to players not having those two or not planning to get them.

With a low Alpha, it needs to take more shots to rack up a score. Each shot requires peaking, poking or exposing your unarmored tank. Your luck might last in one great game, but will it last in every game?? (Depends if you own shares in War Gaming!!)

This was goin to be my original choice but when I was offered the Swartz panzer in black market I decided to take it. It's ok in right hands unfortunately I think both of mine are left. Good t8 German prem lowe 👍👍

the one thing the mutz has that most mediums dont have is 90 pen on it's HE, it also has 1100+ shell speed on that 90mm HE shell which is really good, however since the gun is a bit shit, it's difficult and dubious to try and dmg with HE, i often load first shell HE for any light tanks i see while i'm getting into position, the guns soft stats are what kill it imo, you must be totally still and the enemy has to be still also to hit most of the time unless you are 40m from them, i did 88 battles in mine and stripped the equipment and put it on the back shelf with all the other premium tanks i got fucked over on. this is truly the worst online game and i sometimes believe that the devs are actually evil people, they way they do everything is very dirty. they dont even try and hide it, they just dont care, they will run their game into the ground and laugh all the way to the bank

Well the best german premium are TDs men E25, Skorpion G and then you have Lowe and the scouts they are very good not the best but pretty good both of them ( black dog and HWK 30

Mutz and AMX CDC are very familiar.... CDC is fast af with a huge Power Per Weight ration and big chonky engine but has paper armor...Mutz is a bit slower, has some auto ricochet armor on the turret but thats pretty much it, otherwise it is paper like CDC...CDC is a better choice because of mobility but both tanks are mediocre amd honestly made for more experienced players that know map positions very well and know how to abuse bush mechanics...Also both have same base and premium pen so yeah

I got the schwarzpanzer 58 for 3.2mil credits from the black market a year or two ago. It's a great tank. But I think it's probably not worth the bonds.

The Mutz has soft armor so its not good for trading shots in a brawl. Its better as a sniper and flanker. Its not a tank suited for beginners. Its a tank for the more experienced players. If you want a T8 premium tank that's easy to play and make credits there are better choices.

That is an issue of the KZbin app, the channels don't have control over it. Watching on the KZbin page in a browser won't show any ad (the app could be more convenient, though)

I think players, who already own the Mutz, are positively surprised by the latest improvements to the tank. But the tank only has nostalgic value in the current meta. It's time for grandpa to come up with some war time memories: We use to play the Mutz back in the golden times, when tv was black and white and there was segregation in other parts of live as well, but I digress. So back then, when you were a supporter of the german panzer ideology, damn those nazis their tanks are debatable, but have you ever driven a Tiger II on the Autobahn? But I digress. So back then you could either choose the Panther 8.8 or the Mutz. Which was weird. Not as weird as when your uncle Helmuth decided to become aunt Helmut, but still. The Panther 8.8 had a super accurate gun and still has one of the best dpm, if not the best dpm, in the game. So a great premium, if you like the Leopard? No, because it has the crew layout of, you might guess it, a Panther. Or how aunt Helmuth liked to phrase it: "If you want to have a foursome, five is one to many." So there was the Mutz, with the correct crew layout, but at that time a very inaccurate gun. Still a lot of players choose the Mutz over the Panther 8.8. Why? For the same reasons players pick a tank today. It was a decent ridge line tank. It had very good gun depression, soft stats that lead to an insane snap shot capability and a solid turret that was very bouncy due to its round shape. But that once bouncy turret turned into paper, when the average premium round started to have 300 penetration. So it's nimble and the fast and high penetrating German HE for sure is fun, but not a good tank anymore. I still love the Ford Mustang 1967. But is there anything that a Mustang does better than a KIA? If you're honest, the answer is no.

I rarely sell a tank but I sold the Indien-Panzer. Over 100 games in that pos resulted in a 39 percent wr. Yeah, I'm bad, but nobody is that bad.

Call is bad RNG my average win rate over 30 days is about 59% but after 60 games in my M48 Patton 46% win rate with average 4000k Combined every game. So just say WG screwed you.

I had days with 20% for one vehicle, next day rigged games kick in and fix it. Also days with 15 games 3 losess in one vehicle, next day 17 game 3 wins in the same vehicle. It's not a secret teams are made so people with many wins get teamed with people with few wins. We call this rigged matchmaking. They even patented this and other ways of rigging games.

I got this for free somehow. (xmas reward? So it did cost me, but tanks like that I just call bonus). I cringe everytime I decide to take it out. But somehow I usually do really well in it. My overall winrate is under 49%, but with the Mutz it's near 60. I have no explanation as to how that is possible.
