well i read some of research that they actually mistake it, because they was paint those tiger face on the tank for the "year of the tiger" but it was end of "year of the Tiger" and begin "Year of the Rabbit" but not very sure that is true or not, man i wish WG give this little patton some love with different camo or camo boost or better shell

This was my first premium tank like 5 years ago. I got it to train my pershing/patton crews back when that was a thing. I really liked it back then but only roll out in it now for nostalgia. That camo is 100% accurate for the first pattons that where sent to Korea

This has been a pretty interesting series. I almost have enough bonds to consider some of these tanks. I burnt myself buying an IS6B in the black market second change thing. Paying a LOT more attention to standard round Pen now.

It was a solid performer for me for several years. Made a good amount of silver for me. Then out came the Chrysler, the Defender, and the Italian autoloaders. Ya know the rest of the story. If WG would buff it a bit, I could roll it out again

I have it. I won mine from Tank rewards about 4 years ago. When it comes to match making its just okay. I do see 10's in it but not a lot. But I do like it and mine has a nick name. BAD-KITTY.

LOL Claus, most of your observations ARE TRUE! I almost build my account with Pilot I which is the same tank as this C*AP! But MM favors him (in most cases). Also, I HATE PATRIOT, because I'm almost always in TierX fights. It is a good tank, but his MM sux a BIG TIME (btw I have a better score with Pilot than Patriot). In those rare cases when I am top tier with Patriot, I play with complete idiots in my team. I just hate that tank! Even IS6 has a better MM than him. Not just preferential MM, but at least your teammates seem to know what they are doing. One more thing for making IS6 work: don't use gold ammo, use HE instead; tracking, weak spots, good 'sigma', you almost always kill some crew, wreck some modules, unbelievable how effective IS6 with HE is. Gold ammo for him is a waste. Also one more tip for "bad sigma' guns: put ventilation in the power slot (not second or third, it must be in the first one). So far I confirmed some of your observations: - Hidden arta bloom on the certain tanks you aiming at CONFIRMED (but less often after you first time noted that problem year or two ago) - Bad RNG skyrockets at endgame for losing team CONFIRMED - REAL 'average' dmg for big caliber CONFIRMED and usually less - Existence of the sigma factor CONFIRMED (very bad sigma factor for British and German guns meds and TDs, use vents in power slot or combination of vertistab + rotating mechanism) - good MM for 'obsolete' tanks - somehow good MM before you elite tank I am still testing my own observations on hidden stuff, but anyway GJ Claus!

Good Review! I have a 3575 Win8 in this tank and a 100% win rate :) Played one game on a free 3 day rental with no equipment and got a Muppet team, was a laugh but yes the tank is weak.

It's not as bad as it seems if you know what you are doing: the gun mantlet is quite trollish and the snapshot ability is amazing: it does not have blatant weak spots like the Chinese t54-pershing hybrid and has certainly a better gun then the mutz or the panther 88, despite having lower pen as it does not takes ages to aim and eventually miss.

IV looked at this tank a few times but the skin annoys me. I know it's historical but still. I never thought about the matchmaker the way you described , it makes perfect sense, i Buy new tanks and the usual sale period I get better match making but after that the only time I get decent matchmaking is when the offer comes back around. Some of my weakest premiums seem to get decent matchmaking more often than not . I learn something every day , thankyou 👍

I don't mind this tank. Good gun depression. Ridge line combat is doable in lots of cases. Just be wary of heavily armored tanks. It's a decent crew trainer and credit maker if you go light on the premium shells.

Bought it all those years ago when I used to buy premiums from the shop on a semi regular bases and have to say it was rather decent back then but overall it aged like piss so it is only worth it to collectors who skipped over it or F2P who've become desperate. The paint is historical.

correction my favorite muppet libertee is 232 pen not 220 something houhhaaaaa , and yes this thing is a nerfed version of the m46 patton tier 9 it should have at least 205 mm of pen stock rds. at the end of the day they should add the real specs of those tanks like in war thunder

Hmmn with the Patton I tend to just be more careful shooting going for tracks. But these days with reusable repair kits and so on. Well your limited but your armour and gun against high tiers.

I have an example: load all 100% standard AP ammo and you are top tier most of the time and load few gold and HE ammo shells and goodbye being top tier

I haven't played this tank in years. Once all the new tanks came out with better pen and with all the gold spam it wasn't enjoyable. I do have game with a hair under 5k damage in it though.

Clausman, I have rotten matchmaking and it’s not worth talking about. My opinion on the MK 46 is the same for the Super Pershing - in the hands of a skilled player, greatly trained crew not withstanding, will beat the stuffing out of scary devil dolls every time. The rest of us will curse the lousy tank that’s not worth sh*t.

I am getting really crap MM and RNG these days on my IS-3A. So if they can't balance the tank on stats, well then I guess they just screw you with MM and RNG, since those are not tracked at all statistically. All that info is obscured by WG.

i love my 112 with all my heart.... Even with that low pen i manage to have above 67% winrate and my global winrate is 55. I think im one of the few who loves strange tanks like chrysler ,112, T34-3 and so on and i tend to do alot better with those then with my ''OP'' premiums But yeah this tank is trash.. I can make a bad tank work as long as it got at least 1 strong point (112 armor, T34-3 turret ) you got the point . This trash has nothing....

Patriot is garbage. Get mk46 instead. It is a fun little tank with amazing gun handling. It is so good you don"t need stabilizator. You get 10 degrees gun depression, good mobility (I recommend turbo to boost it), ok trollish turrret that can actually bounce even tier 9 and 10. Pen does not really matter that much for medium tanks. If you liked Pershing you will love this. This is basically Pershing with better dpm and better engine. Oh and it is quite heavy, combined with its agility you will ram other tanks very nicely.

This is a good series for the newbies Claus, well done. Have you ever looked at the MoE and Mastery requirements on tomato.gg? It gives you a pretty good idea of what vehicles are strong/over performing vs what is old/powercrept/underperforming.

I was dumb enough to buy this tank with bonds. I played one game in it and realised I'd made a mistake. It's completely outclassed by all the newer premium tanks and a few on the tech tree too. (Edit, yes my team won and I survived, but did not enjoy the experience.)

The reason for the tiger face painted on it was becuz the Vietnamese were scared of the actual tiger that lived n their jungles and so we painted our tanks like that to scare them and get into their heads and intimidate them psychologically...just sayin
