druid pounce is also in the cheap shot DR category, they're both considered "opener stuns". this means when facing/playing druids, keep in mind that pounce no longer DRs with bash and maim!

Not sure of this was mentioned, but you should say that DR means Diminishing Returns and describe what it is in a sentence so new players can understand it as well. Even though this guide is aimed at veterans, if there is a “cheap” way to also make it accessible to a wider audience, you should do it.

If you disarm a feral druid you're just removing a stat stick. Feral Druids do not attack with their weapons but instead use a special hand-to-hand weapon that does precisely 55 DPS modified by attack power. Weapons have a conversion from the damage on the weapon to an appropriate amount of "feral attack power" to make the DPS equivalent to other melee. Due to snapshotting all the DoT's will continue to tick as usual and the feral can still use all of its abilities - however anything applied to you during the disarm will do ~30% less damage.

Spell Reflect can reflect multiple spells. I play a destruction warlock. I cast Incinerate on them and before it finishes I get a backlash proc for an instant cast. I follow that up with Conflagrate and all 3 get reflected. Seems it counts every projectile spell before the first one hits and it drives me insane!

thats cool i didnt know absorbs denied rend procs etc. i did know that if you are a druid using natures grasp and a rogue / etc is attacking you, it will not proc roots until the shield is gone!

I remember back in the day fury wars had a bug where they would dual wield 2Hrs with titans grip and they change spec to arms and keep the 2HRs equipped specd into bladestorm and viola roflstomp kids into oblivion.

Lifebloom is reason i never liked playing resto druid. It takes so much gcds just to keep up medicore hot and you have to use it all the time otherwise other team will just dispel all your healing. It's so dumb and annoying.

Cheap Shot is now an "opening stun" same as Pounce, and instead of being its own kategory, Kidney Shot is on DR with other similar stuns now, like HoJ and Maim.

We intentionally mentioned the 4 "major" disarms in arena, since they are the most common. Some Hunter pets also have a Disarm (www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=53543/snatch) but these pets, along with Fire Mages, are very rare. So to keep things relevant, we only mentioned the major ones.

Now I’m not 100% positive but a player who is shielded cannot be critically struck unless the Crit breaks the shield. Does anyone else have info on this? I have done some testing and the absorb values have only been lining up with normal hits… Maybe I’m crazy, maybe not

You can crit on shields, details just counts it as a hit in the breakdown, but you’ll see the «hit» is the same dmg as a crit
