Christian Finnish Frostiis thinking of paladin too but i've only played classic on a private server with warrior so thinking if i should change the class or stick with what i know ( never played WOTLK before) and going with my BFF to RP server soon as DK bots are fixed from BG:s since it's really unplayable at this state

Some tips, don't use Holy Light in PvP, too much mana, and if it doesn't crit, it's bad and also it's a huge interrupt hazard, rather use your flashes to support your partner with heals, don't let him drop that low, periodically heal and make a macro, that heals him w.o targeting him manually, make the same for sacred shield, cleanse, HOP, HOF, I got one for party 2 and party 3, with the same things bound, also a focus target HOJ and repetance macro, so u can use it w.o targeting them. Divine storm is a great spell, you can use it to proc aow, when u need a quick heal, the glyphs I'd use are judgement, Flash of Light and turn evil, sometimes I'd swap turn evil for Seal of righteousness, but normally I go 0/20/51 when doing arena. Another usefull macro is one that cancels divine plea, so it won't mess with your healing.

LOL at these comments. @xret you running executioner enchant here? I'm curious what I should run going into wotlk/prepatch. I usually run mongoose for raids, but i wanna do pvp enchants for Wpvp at wotlk launch. Armor pen seems more consistent while mongoose just allows for more crit and RNG in your damage. Thanks for your input.

I'm having Berserker enchant on my weapon it gives you 400 attack power at the cost of 5% of your armor . Since armor penetration is not effective for ret paladin as much as other specs you won't see many paladins running executioner , berserker probably is the best you can have both in pve and pvp , I'm creating a wrath ret paladin guide in a few days you can check that out

@@XretX thank you very much. One more question, why does armor pen not scale well with paladin. Do warriors / rogues have something that enhances armor pen? With my gear I have about 1500 armor pen if executioner procs.

@Tom Peisner It's because of the type of your damaging spells , armor only reduces physical damage taken and armor penetration only helps the spells that do physical damage and the two only spells that do physical damage for ret are crusader strike and divine storm , all other spells do holy damage which is considered magic , also divine storm has kind of a weird damage school it's shown in the tooltip that it does weapon damage but the truth is that it also gets buffed by spell damage buffs as well as attack power so it means damage formula is half physical half spell which means only crusader strike is fully affected by armor penetration

Yes they can but if you got like 5-6 buffs it take several globals to do so and a good ret can spam buffs or fury threat buff not to let that happen
