And, the fact that I'm a huge fan of the series and have watched it quite a few times, I already knew it. Basically, all the Experiments created before her (including Jumba) are susceptible to her song.

I loved the cartoon series, but not so much of the continuations. I was hoping Lilo and Stitch would travel the world together to find the other experiments as Lilo grew up. Which in my opinion is a way better idea than replacing the main character that started it all with characters that in some cases are just similar copies of Lilo.

Althea Sirius I agree or have a lilo and stitch monsters inc other movies combo where lilo and stitch have to go through other doors which are other movies to find experiments (for example go through boos door and discover sully is an experiment).

yeah i agree. like if lilo gets to old. they could of always fell back on making angel stitches partner, over some random other human. was just so random. but yes lilo is the kind of person to follow through and work for her whole life. with the goal of saving the experiments. she wouldn't just leave. she would for sure grow old with stitch. even if stitch was doomed to out live her. but angel could always be there with stitch. you wouldn't need some random other. when you have someone that would be willing to join him. even ruben could work with stitch from time to time. even passing down the job to lilos kids or something would be more likely. then you could have all kinds of ideas from there like what if she had 1 boy and girl or 2 girls 1 boy or something. like anything could of been an opinion but nope just random other human.

Angel is hands down my favourite experiment. She gave meaning to girl power in the series. It was also nice to see more female experiments too. She was originally evil and a femme fatale, she changed and became a love interest for Stitch

I am honestly very surprised how 624 Angel continues to appear in merchandising. A few other experiments had some occasional plushies as well, such as 625 Reuben, Leroy and 344 Dupe. I was even more surprised that Dupe got his own plush, as the experiments aren’t really that memorable, unless you are a diehard Stitch fan like myself. Plus, some other experiments appeared in the Disney parks, most notably 010: Felix, 221: Sparky, who is more memorable and 258: Sample. Mainly in Tokyo Disney.

Lilo and Stitch is THE most popular Disney film in Japan (At least from what i know) so the result in the anime (which is probably popular out there) would be the reason for her popularity out there. The Angel merch probably came from Japanese manufacturers and the spread globally. Angel first appeared as merch in my country on Valentines day where you could get her plushie in a wedding dress with Stitch in a Tux. they weren't sold separately either. it was really cute!

That's awesome. That could explain why she can now be seen in merchandise all over the world practically. Possibly in the UK as well. She was even included in Disney Tsum Tsum. Maybe Disney wanted to push her popularity, as her and Stitch look cute together. She might as well have her own spin off show as the main character.

I think one of the reasons she continually appears in merchandise because she is officially Stitch's love interest and so is associated by many with Stitch. I've seen her appear alongside Stitch in Valentine's Day plushes and other, similar products.

[even merchandise for the lesser-loved Experiments like the one with the swirly eyes (forgot the name), Cannonball, and Bonnie exist, but they're REALLY hard to find and mostly in the hands of collectors] The Dupe plush was released in France only, I think? Don't quote me on that, not entirely sure.

Her power never worked on him, it was Love at First Sight. As the first and oldest fan of this couple I can truly say it was a match, made in Heaven! I had written fanfiction and made fan art for them since I was a little girl. I am now nearly 30 and Angel has been a part of me personally. I will always support them. I love lilo and stitch, I remember going to the movies to see it as a kid and have loved it since. But the anime was completely rubbish to me, they changed everything that made lilo and stitch wholesome and unique. It's fine to like it, it's also fine to dislike it.

@@jaet4540 Technically they didn't. Lilo grew up and moved on from Stitch with a boyfriend and had a kid named Ani. The anime is also better than the original series, despite the series was good. Angel in the anime was eh, but at least Yuna didn't mistreat Stitch as did Lilo.

I did hate the one episode in the anime where Stitch accidentally spilled cake On Angel and she spent the entire time hating and ignoring him. She even exacted revenge by dumping cake on him at the end of the episode. I guess she still had a bit of evil in her and vanity

the stitch! anime boosted her popularity in japan immensely, especially with harajuku kids and their weird and wild fashions, so when angel started showing up as an accessory in jfashion street snaps, jfashion fans in the west wanted to use her in their outfits too, causing her popularity to spike slightly outside of japan. recently angel's popularity has dropped in favor of Duffy the disney bear, a disney parks/disney store exclusive character that didnt take off in america but was an overwhelming commercial success in japan. occasionally angel accessories will pop up now and then in street snaps, but most of what youll see these days on the streets of harajuku are duffy, shellymae and stellalou. also the aliens from toy story are popular there too for some reason.
