I’ve been having a blast with ice earth fusion with dark titan and Tifa and AMont. It’s so fun, no one is using it, and they synergize pretty well.

I'm forever a Tifa fan. I won't be building her with any aggression, but she'll deserve a spot in the barracks and certainly on my homepage. Not to hijack but man the choice between Sephiroth and Gilga is racking my brain every day......

Yep, Tifa will be on my homescreen for awhile too. As for Seph vs Gilga, Id say it comes down to 2 things - 1) Limited vs Permanent Debate 2) Do you specialize more in Cold (Ice/Water/Earth) or Warm (Fire/Lightning/Wind) Elements?

She was a fun unit for awhile, underrated manual play unit too.

Im building her as I play ice/water and strike so its a forgone conclusion with me. The idea of AP suppression does intrigue me, but right now she looks like a complementary character for a meta without a true carry main atm, be that strike or AP suppression. I expect she will get to ride of some coat tails when gilgamesh comes out, but like that combo will just for people who wont have the VCs needed for him to work with Mont or Jueme.

I’m using her with A2 and Snow and getting great results. Keep in mind her Raid gear and Vision Card aren’t out yet. The VC works for all three of them

@@eddiealgarin6155 Im not saying that she isnt good right now, its more like there isnt a long term picture for her currently. Especially with Gilgamesh looking like a perfect complement to the A2/Jueme combo. Even if going mono Ice, you would probably slot in Oldoa with A2 and Gil (depending how the AI handles his Haste/heal). Im still going to slow build her, and use her if I think I could make a team that could grind down AP really effectively or a tier 0 strike unit. I have to imagine Gil is going to be the last ice unit we get for a while (seriously A2>Oldoa>Tifa>Gil in like 3 months?).

She's good and usable for now even without the AP angle, but I think that's her strongest play and what I'd try and build around. I agree that we're not seeing Ice again for awhile, probably not until Veritas of the Frost.

I'd probably use the new Kitone over 2P for a strike team. Kitone is so good. 2P melts from guaranteed hit.

Their physical tankiness is really about the same, they each have a 50% barrier and that's about it. Anyway the build shown in the video is a semi evasive strike team.

Prompto was great with Joker on Manual CM. It's sad that GUMI didn't give him the upgrades that he deserve.

Feels like so long ago, and it was really only 1 or 2 CM's lol, but yes I agree he was always better in manual, as are all missile units.

@JB79 She has a little physical barrier... but yeah she's not making it to a second battle that's for sure. I'll make a fun lil arena team with it, an see how it goes

Garnet / Dagger in niche, useful for celerate esper summon. Same as Loeuelle, Queen Mach, and Ammelis TMR.

@@JB79 she def works out better paired with Frey, but im doing this mostly for fun/trolling. I used to be really sweaty about stat crunching and winning but after the lazy cloud, tifa, sephy re-skins ive decided just to go for unconventional comps

Keep in mind I'm only comparing it here vs the small handful of next-gen units. In actuality, her AGI is competitive, its just a couple of points less than them, but since all of the units are so close to each other it looks a bit worse than it actually is on that chart.

Whu...why gumi...didnt include ninjas in Tifa´s VC....would have been cool to use her and Yuffie in same team.. Ninjas get no love.. I love new Ice Tifa.. i think if u invest on her you wont be decepointed (in CMs)... ,, for sure im getting Tifa VC,, thanks the Rng gods she herself is free. great review as always

Sure, there's always an elemental counter argument for pretty much every unit. Sol is not faring well vs A2 or Oldoa or any of the current Ice meta currently going though, so really not worried about him at all right now. Sephiroth is another story though.
