They def have powers man. No normal human is moving faster than sound, jumping across/over buildings with ease, and taking ungodly amounts of physical damage like that.

One of the demons in the season 2 arc literally goes "this guy isn't a normal human" when it hits Zenitzu because he took it pretty well when it was honestly trying to break bones so like... Yeah, they definitely have powers

@zoro115-s6b 2 жыл бұрын
Yea, if they're doing something that's completely impossible for a real world human, they have powers. I don't care if they 'trained to get like that', it's a power. The fact that any human in their universe could theoretically gain those powers just means that it's a universe where everyone is powered, just most haven't learned to use their powers yet. I've legit seen people trying to argue that Zoro, Saitama, Ect. don't have powers. Like.... Come on.

The one thing that I feel like is always under appreciated in strength, martial arts, and any physical activity in general is. GRIP STRENGTH. I have no idea how fast Zenitsu is moving during Thunderclap and Flash Godspeed. But for him to hold onto his katana with FULL CONTROL during that is absolutely nuts to think about.

Remzen I heard of a technique to learn to do things automatically. Basically you would first learn to meditate to a point where you can sort of turn on your subconscious, then you’d practice whatever you were trying to do in that state. I never stuck with meditation long enough to try this lol, but it lines up with some advice I heard about guitar practice. It said if you practice playing a song mindlessly, when you get on stage you won’t be able to turn your mind off and your conscious mind won’t know how the song goes lol.

Wondering are you ever going to cover Dune? The books kinda have interesting martial arts called the Weirding Way. Along with interesting tantric meditation for body awareness, breathing triggers. The Bene Geserit train for years doing essentially hours of isometric exercises. To the point they get have amazing bodily control under extreme stress I know its not really anime, but Dune is primed for an anime adaptation its tropes and themes are pretty 1:1 Also, remzen

Had to curb my instinctive responses when I was training to box. A month ago me and my nephew were doing mma where he showed me what he leaned in wrestling and what I've taught him in boxing. I usually have a no head blow policy when it isn't a real fight. This boy went for my chin and in half a second I realize I was almost about to land a left hook on his ear as a counter. He said that it hurt and I informed him if I hadn't pulled it in time, his inner ear would be stunned. Felt like Vegeta when he hit trunks after a blow.

The first time muscle memory was taught to me was in a Goju Ryu school. I should probably just refer to it as remzen, at least in this circle. Aslo, when mentally visualizing myself doing a pattern, I still have to consciously remind myself, first person not third. I feel like if you're mentally practicing in third person you're just day dreaming and wasting effort.

First, Rem Zen. Second, I'd like to note that I am subject to sleep fighting. It's mostly the punching, slapping, kicking, and talking. Like you said, it's usually related to stress during that period in my life. Lighter bouts would just result in talking. But there have been days that a full punch has actually woken me up.

I can actually do videogame/anime looking combos in real life, it would be an honor to train you after all the training youve helped me with! Easiest one is a combo i use to capture the back of my oponents using basic footwork and striking, but from the oponents point of view, they got punched in the face and you vanished... Then they feel the next punch or grapple(i usually use this to setup for a good old german suplex) and i shout "URA NAGE!" as i do... Wich is the japanese name of the technique but sounds like a special attack from anime 💪

That's also the reason most white belts are tasked with the boring routines of "50 front kicks, then 50 side kicks, then 50 crescent kicks" back to back, then taught combination repetitions later on. The idea is to ingrain good technique with each punch and kick to "do it in your sleep" levels before teaching actual combat skills. Unfortunately that can also lead to 3-4 year martial artists that can't fight their way out of a paper bag but they know their green belt test routine *real good*. Remzen

I feel the art problem with the creators vision is simply: shonen. If it had been a serious senin I think it is? Or hell Vagabond - then the idea could work with sword swipes of waves or a flash of thunder in the background so the viewers in the story "thought" he cut lightning aka the raikiri. That would work better. But Demonslayer is more like a drama if anything so you cant really bs these things... that and the creator made demons exist so the fuck are ya saying in your story that powers dont exist like what?!

@@marvenscharleslouissaint1346 I get the idea. What Im saying and most the fans like Jax if I had to say: Its almost laughable, since pressure or aura isnt sending you flying like in some seens or literally burning ( as it does happen in the anime, it had a true fire effect and stopped them from regenerating, it wasnt just the blade that time). Though, I hear the creator gave up o nthe idea anyways. In my case I dont get why they disliked the idea... you have demons already and magic blood arts lol

@@marvenscharleslouissaint1346 I mean it kinda is like anime today anyways, since breathe is a magic system in the end. But it doesnt undermine it because like Tanjiro explains, the system of breathe was re made constantly for people individual skill? (Like him using water now for defense instead) So i alwaya argued the creator should just say it it real elements happening since it doesnt change anything really. Lol I think someone said it like this: the more something is relatble to us.. the harder it is to mess with (aka muscles ans breathing) Edit: for anyone else seeing this, i think it couldve worked since demon slayer feels very theater play like given the tradgey and stories of demons etc. But the moment they bring in using muscle to stop death/spoiler stuff etc im like what
