Henry doesn't get the credit he deserves: - beat mighty mouse - beat a juiced TJ when Henry didn't cheat - saved a division - beat Marlon - became double champ - beat Cruz and got in his head, even tho Cruz is known for that - and ofc the Olympic gold medal

Especially when you consdider they have to cut those five pounds when they're in a drained state already. Makes a huge difference in energy levels.
@leerobbo92
@leerobbo92 3 жыл бұрын
@@carltheron Well, yeah. Just look at the pure percentages, it's almost halved for heavyweights compared to 135. For 265 it's under a 2% weight difference, for 135 it's just under a 4% weight difference. You're half way to the Featherweight weight limit. That's why the smaller weight classes go up in 10lb increments, but the difference between light-heavy and heavyweight is 60lbs.

It’s different man, Nunez I don’t think wins that fight because he’s naturally stronger and a far better wrestler than Amanda will ever face. Then of course he’s a damn solid striker. Inter gender fighting is terrible because it’s never perfectly balanced. You can be the same weight but that doesn’t mean strength and speed are the same. Men has a larger skeleton size and bone mass and density which means they can hit harder and can have larger muscle mass attached to their skeleton so naturally they are stronger. Male athletes aren’t better per say but it’s like apples and oranges. Amanda can knockout and beat some lower level male feather and bantamweights but that next level isn’t fair. Not because she isn’t good she’s the GOAT of women’s MMA. But because physically, it’s never even. Mix gender sports isn’t a good idea.

I watched a dude on LSD fight a guy who weighed at least 60 more pounds. lets say 180 other guy was 240 ish. It was insane to see the 180 guy just have timing that was incredible to watch. Like time slowed down for him. and he was just 1 second ahead of the other guy. Now yes weight plays a factor but Blake the 240 guy was no slouch.

I’m glad they tested tj samples before he fought cejudo as well because we really got some closure as fans that he only took eponwhen he cut that weight for that particular fight. But I honestly want them to fight again it was one of those situations where the fight was so fast and tj got caught right off the bat. I often wonder if he could beat tj in a rematch. Hopefully they can rematch with no drugs involved and at the higher weight class. Tj is so skilled and so is cejudo they are really the top two in those weight classes I think.

@@elementonly08 no doubt, pre USADA I bet there was about 10% of guys not using some sort of juice but even Cody said yesterday that he hasnt had any blood taken from USADA for a while now just piss tests. I just cant see how any fighter who hasnt used PEDs wakes up knowning what EPO is and thats his first drug that enters his mind. He probably had a guy or trainer that is an expert in this stuff and knows how to get away with it.

yea you kinda just do start taking it lol EPO is naturally occurring in your body. When it's secreted your body makes more RBCs-- which carries oxygen to all the cells in your body. tjs hematocrit was low and that's why he was feelings burntout. sooooo be starts taking EPO and spikes his hematocrit back to normal or probably slightly elevated. You dont stay on EPO with super high hematocrit very long mostly because you die from a heart attack or TIA
@Gaston-08

Not true, if ppl stay on it for a long time, could lead to heart attacks or strokes. But I agree that he likely wasn't clean his whole career.

It’s a pretty tough question and it’s a stupid question to ask cause people have the benefit of hindsight. Henry knows he felt good knows he won so of course NOW he says he would’ve taken it but in reality if tj popped before he would say no.

@@davidferrer678 i mean he retired because of the money so as long as he got a big cut of TJ's purse there's a good chance he takes that fight.

It's what Lance Armstrong took. The easiest definition without getting into the science is, it allows a person to push harder and longer at high intensity than they could naturally.

It allows your body to produce more red bloods cell which allows you to have greater oxygen storages between 10-20%. So yes, your cardio is exponentially improved. You gain much more than 10-20% more endurance just like you would gain more than 20% strength if your muscle mass increased 20%.

I'd be shocked if Cejudo really retired he's in his prime. I guess it makes sense to go out on top but wouldn't you want to make double the money you've already made for just a few more fights. His biggest money fights would still be to come. Idk it could be something we dont know about or multiple reasons. I think pay has something to do with it maybe
