Of all the Cubs worries in 2025, I promise you that replacing Patrick Wisdom's production isn't one of them lmao

Let’s remember that the Ricketts don’t sign A+ high profile players. Move on and prepare to settle for B to A- player profiles. Juan Soto in a Cubs uniform would be incredible. That’s not happening. I would bet my mortgage on it.

She’s right, they went over by a few hundred thousand dollars and didn’t mean to 😂 somebody should have been fired for it

Patrick Widom sucks. Come on. He was good at hitting home runs when the Cubs were five or six runs down and he could hit them off a crappy reliever. He had three big hits in about three seasons. Cubs doing salary dumps so why the hell would they go and get Soto. That don’t make sense.

0% shot they are getting Juan soto

And right on cue, "the list of offers for Soto at this point is Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers and Blue Jays." Hey Chicago, whatta ya say, let's pretend the Cubs will spend today!

@@aduncaroo The Cubs have the third highest revenue in baseball, and one of only four teams to top $500 million. They have their beloved ppv tv network with distribution. They muscled out everyone else who owned businesses around hte ballpark. They charge among the highest prices in baseball. The idea that it is acceptable for them to operate as a middle market spender should be offensive, especially when the squander the greatest resource advantage over their division of any team in professional sports. If a restaurant tried selling fast food ingredients at Michelin star prices, you would have a right to be offended. That is how the Cubs operate.

@@benoitwaffle5439 lol the idea that you are entitled to tell somebody else how to run the business they own is what is laughable, yet you’ll keep right on doing it

@@aduncaroo Yes, we are entitled to criticize poorly run teams. We cannot force them to have the ambition of their competition, but can criticize it. There is a difference. You don't seem capable of grasping that.
