Electrumite has been doing nothing for a long time in Masterduel and only after AGOV has a Pendulum deck been even Tier 3-2 in the OCG. The card isn't the monster everybody makes it out to be. It is a staple for Pendulum decks but the game is full of staples for decks that use this or that summoning mechanic anyways. Edit: Now Plushfire is out of question, at least until it gets a " hard once per turn" errata treatment.

Don't compare OCG/Master Duel pend to what it would be in TCG. Without maxx C it's obviously gonna be much better. Not to mention that tcg players are objectively better innovators than OCG players. Oh and the deck isn't tier 2-3 in ocg, it's in the top 5 ish, that's tier 1

I think Lavaval would make more ftks more consistent and that is . never a good thing. Only reasons as to why Dragon Rulers wouldn't be as good in current meta. Is because there isn't enough good rank 7's that function good in current meta.

ftk decks are already consistent, but that doesn't make them good. They aren't resilient and suck going 2nd. Lavalval chain would just be another decent card in decks like tearlaments, but the keyword "decent" here is important. That deck can already make beatrice relatively easily, so it's not like we can say that lavalval chain would change that much

Grass would be crazy with tear. 20 with grass , potentially mill 10 with ishizus, if you are coping mill another 4 with zombie vampire if you play horus , and of course tear cards can do more milling.

Knightmare Goblin is definitely unbannable, extra link in master rule 5 is complete cap and the extra normal takes at least 3 monsters to set up. The Targeting protection only really matters in decks that co-link but these days they rather go into S:P Little Knight who can do her own kind of targeting protection.

Actually insane. An extra normal summon in the modern game is even stronger than it was in 2019 and it is a generic Link 2. It isn't about Extra Linking. It is about being an easily accessible extender from the Extra Deck.

I would agree, but Goblin's high accessibility makes it more than worth the cost to set up an extra normal summon that can be used at ANY time during that turn. Extra Linking being irrelevant in MR5 does nothing to change this fact. The targeting protection is equally irrelevant. Plus what Orga said about the extra normal summon being MUCH stronger now than in 2019 is 100% correct. The power creep in Yu-Gi-Oh these days is simply ridiculous.

Nope, the negate loop was funny, sure, but there were so many outs to it that it was never that great. It was banned because it put the wind barrier statue on a board of multiple negates and gave said barrier statue targetting protection.
