I am a clinical pharmacist and i understand how chemistry can be interinteresting because it is, we have alot of chemistry education but it is always oriented towards medicine or pharmacology, the sad reality about being with a chemistry major is that it doesn't pay off well like other professions for example pharmacists or physicians, because it is so general and not specific

@@GoggleGumnot true at all. They both make the same coming out of college, and chemical engineering is extremely limited geographically. Also, most chemical engineers work as everything else BUT a chemical engineer. Let that sink in.

There’s different scales for some high schools. So it is possible.
@iliad_lol Жыл бұрын
Not true anymore. There are 2 types of gpa. Unweighted gpa everything is out of 4 and can only go up to 4 like you say. Weighted GPA includes whether its an Honors class (5.0 scale) or an AP or Dual Credit class (6.0 scale)

Chemistry? So he wants to be broke asf & In massive college debt for the rest of his life, they don’t make money. Too mad people want the “sexy” majors, Engineering, Chemistry, Medicine, until they’re in the major & realize it’s more work than they thought & they fail. Drop the major, does anyone not pick practical majors anymore? Like Nursing? Biotech? PA? Lol! They all actually make money even more than engineers & much more than chemists. I notice this guy mostly interviews goofies that just want to flex.
@Airborneworms Жыл бұрын
Not everyone want to flex or think their major is (sexy) there are people who are genuinely inlove with their major regardless of what it pays.

Someone has to do the job. Everybody is not fit for nursing. I wish people would stop bringing up nursing. I’m an RN and it is not easy! You have to not only be physically fit, but mentally stable as well. Dealing with rude Physicians, other nurses and others from the interdisciplinary team can make or break you. Working countless hours and not even receiving a simple thank you from an irate patient can make a person look for another career. You have to first have a desire and passion for caring for sick people. Trust me I take care of my Autistic son for FREE and with his repetitive behavior and my other kids, makes me want to tap out of life. My point is this, if you are in it for the money, don’t get into healthcare unless you will be in a position where you are not dealing directly with people, maybe the administrative side.

I love my major (engineering) i didnt chose it for the money, i chose it because i love it. Its a lot of work but i genuinely enjoy it and its something i can see myself doing for a long time, if not the rest of my life
