IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE DESCRIPTION: THIS IS COMIC SPIDEYPOOL! Peter is NOT a teenager in the comics and hasn't been for decades. Peter and Wade are both grown adults, with Wade being around his 30's and Peter being about 28 according to Jordan D. White. The only reason Peter is depicted as a teen in so many adaptations is because that is where his origin story begins, but he has been an adult in the comics much longer than he was ever a teen and has been in many adult situations since, having gotten married, had children, owned a business, and has had multiple other adult relationships. For anyone curious about Spider-Man and Deadpool's relationship in the comics, I'd recommend reading Marvel's "Don't Call it a Team-Up" compilation. It includes a few of their major interactions over the course of time before their 2016 team-up comic released. Their shared comic is simply titled "Spider-Man/Deadpool", having 50 issues total and running from 2016-2019. After their team-up comic ended in 2019, the two are seen teaming up again in Absolute Carnage vs. Deadpool, a 3-issue run that ties into the Absolute Carnage event. Wade also calls Spidey his "special boy" in Gwenpool Strikes Back #2. I'd also recommend Deadpool Back in Black despite Peter and Wade not actually interacting in the comic. It's a strange little re-telling of a time when Deadpool got ahold of the Venom symbiote before Peter did, and has an interesting bit where Wade states that he's left feeling the love the symbiote has for Peter even when they're no longer bonded. I had a more in-depth reading guide here before, but I'm too lazy to type it back up again now. Maybe I'll get around to it, but for now y'all get a summary haha

He is around 28, currently, and Wade is in his early 30s according to Jordan D. White. Either way, Peter is an established adult who has been married, gone to college, had children, and multiple relationships with other adults. Please keep in mind that these characters are COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS. Peter has been an adult MUCH longer than he's been a child in the comics, and the only reason he's depicted as a a teen in so many TV and movie adaptations is because that is where his origin story is.

If you want more of Spideypool, here is a rough reading guide for their interactions: Deadpool (1997) #11, Peter and Wade do not interact, but Wade swaps bodies with Peter and antics ensue. Cable and Deadpool (2004) #24, This is the first time they meet officially. They are off to a rough start here. Cable and Deadpool #50, They team up again briefly. Amazing Spider-man (1963) #611, Deadpool is sent to bother Spider-Man for a while, and they have a yo-mama joke contest. Wade expresses that he finds Spider-Man attractive and unconvincingly tells himself that he does not "want to make the special hug with him." Deadpool (2008) #19-22, Deadpool and Spider-man team up to take down a monkey hit-man, and it's hilarious. A lot of good interactions and comparisons between their characters. Also, Wade wears a dress. Deadpool: Suicide Kings (2011), Deadpool, Spider-Man, and Daredevil team up to clear Wade's name. Wade is referred to as Spider-Man's girlfriend, and they quip at each other enough that it annoys Daredevil. Identity Wars (2011): Amazing Spider-man Annual #38, Deadpool Annual #1, Incredible Hulk Annual #1, A cross-over where Deadpool, Spider-Man, and the Hulk are taken to a parallel universe. Really good stories, and they hug in this one. Avenging Spider-man (2011) #12-13, Deadpool is hired to invade Spider-man’s dreams and tricks him into breaking criminals out of prison. They swap outfits, Wade flirts and wears a cheerleading outfit, it's funny and great. Deadpool (2012) #7, Another instance of time-travel/flashback where Wade runs into Peter Parker very briefly. He calls him a nerd. Deadpool (2012) #10, Deadpool and Superior Spider-man (Doc Ock in Peter Parker's body) team up, though Deadpool is unaware that it is Doc. Wade flirts a lot. Deadpool Annual #2 (2014), Deadpool finds Spider-Man in the middle of a spat with the Chameleon, and ends up helping him by swapping outfits (again). He kisses Spidey on the head in this one and it's super cute. Uncanny Avengers (2015) #1, This isn't entirely about the two of them, but Spider-man and Deadpool are put on the same team. Spider-Man gets mad enough to quit the Avengers when Deadpool behaves recklessly. Uncanny Avengers #19-20, Spider-Man is called upon by Deadpool for help, and they end up working well together. Really good interactions here. Spider-man/Deadpool (2016), Their team-up comic dedicated to their growing friendship. It's currently on-going. (You could also read Deadpool Back in Black (just 5 issues) for a sort of re-telling of a brief time when Wade got ahold of the Venom symbiote both before and after Spidey did. Wade makes a comment of how Venom imparted all of its respect and love for Spider-Man to Wade. It's very interesting.)
