I buy supplies from Temu (pronounced "Taymoo") to create my own home decor. I don't want my booth to have copycat items that other sellers are buying from Temu. I also buy price tags and bags. New subscriber here. Really enjoying your content. Great info.

Welcome! I didn’t realize I was pronouncing it incorrectly until their Super Bowl commercial. 🤣

Heck, no. That would hurt my reputation as an ethical and legit vintage booth. But I don't shame others. I love your fb group, btw!

And that makes perfect sense! You know your audience and that’s the most important things.

I’ve bought the chip wood ornaments and some postcard type items for Halloween and Christmas and write “vintage inspired” on the tag. I do have some of their vintage looking Valentine stickers I’m gonna try at 2/$1. My mall has a vendor that does Pokemon so it gets a fair amount of kids coming through.

I was hesitant at first, but when I tried it I ordered some little things like stickers, croc charms, reduced price pillow covers, and canvases. The good thing is that if you sell a few stickers or charms you are in the clear on the rest. The customer service is really good. I got a damaged item and didn’t even have to return it to get a credit on my account. All the pictures and things seem to be public domain so you could probably copy them, but they are so cheap that with cost of color ink and card stock it would probably be cheaper just to get more from Temu. I know some people are opposed to having these items in their booths or they are not allowed in pure vintage markets. Just my opinion, but 2023 was a year that showed the vintage market to be in a period of transition and it is hard to know what direction it is going. These small items help me with my rent. They also give the young people something to go through. Some people object to imported items for others reasons, but I feel it is a global market now and will probably remain that way. I like people regardless of what country they are living in so that isn’t an issue for me. I also get stickers and supplies from Amazon. They are much faster, but you can save some money on Temu. One negative thing about shopping on Temu is that the games that keep popping up drive me crazy. I have to ignore those. 😊

Completely agree with everything! And I have noticed that temu shipping is getting faster.

i sell retro looking items in my antique booth. I sell retro kitschy stickers for 50 cents, fun novelty earrings and retro atomic mcm cat items like little signs, bags, earrings and these cute rulers. I also ordered little glow in the dark ducks, pigs, frogs, etc and tiny little gumball sized trinkets in bulk from Temu then I ordered gumball capsules and a roll of mini stickers. I made about 200 gumball machines prizes to sell fo r$1 each. I also made loot bags to sell and I also ordered the metal signs with vintage images such as oil and gasoline signs and vintage christmas. I will only buy when I am offered the bundled deals then search for the cheapest ones on sale or sold cheapest in bulk then reap the benefits of the additional discount on everything. So my cost average on the signs end up being about $3 cdn and I sell most of them in one of my booths for $10 which is the booth that doesn't charge a commission fee ...I only pay for the booth.

Thanks for this video!! I am on your f b page and follow it closely! So many great ideas. I have been just recently been looking around temu and have been some what overwhelmed. This video will help me so much to zone in a little more. I too have wanted to do a mushroom theme. I loved your purchases!

Okay, I jumped in and just ordered from Temu. It was a small order, but I am testing the waters. We shall see!

I order many times on Temu for myself. Everything was great and arrived products came as expected. I run a Flea Market on weekends. So I bought $108 worth of stuff from Temu and will sell them at my booth. Many items I order will come in bulk, like from 20-50 count. So a high profit is expected. I order 46 different items. So the variety will be good.

I love these ideas. My dilemma is that my flea market doesn't allow new items. They want mostly vintage. I could sneak a couple of things in but overall, they don't want new things. I also have a price restriction and can't price anything below $3. 😢
