Thought the same since I do my own micro loc maintenance. Locs are now near tailbone. Will continue to trim to prevent much more length, but in terms of maintenance, it's about the same work as when shoulder length.

Her hair is beautiful! My microlocs are about the length and thickness of your hair but they’ve been growing like your client’s and breaking off badly in the front. I’ve decided to do a big chop but I’m going to let my hair grow out a bit before actually cutting it.
