Don't mind the long text: Be glad. I kid you not. Think of the worst injury or stomach pain you ever had. Then amplify that x5. You may think I'm joking but I'm not. It's kind of like how rabbits die from being lonely or you having a drug with drawl. I'm being dead serious when I say its that intense. You literally feel so nauseous you want to throw up. You can never sleep. You don't have an appetite regardless for how long you did not eat for be it days or weeks. Nothing tastes good. Your mind surges with the thought of them every couple of seconds. It literally feels like someone is squeezing the shyt out of your heart. You get heavy migraines and headaches. Your body feels heavy and stiff. You loose all self-confidence and become closed off to everything. There is just so much. The worst part is that it doesn't take weeks or days to get over. The shyt lasts for years. Granted you aren't displaying the same signs within that year. Yet you still constantly desire and think of that person for years and still feel that tug at your heart with the desire to want to know what they are doing. I kid you not. I would not wish that sort of pain even on my worst enemy. I'll give you food poisoning before I gave you an actual genuine heartbreak. Heartbreak physically and mentally scars you for a very long time. It's like finding out your wife and kid died in a car accident. That shyt just doesn't leave you. Like I said before. None of what I said is fabricated. Just hope that if you do find yourself in a relationship that means the world to you. That you do everything in your power to make it succeed. Being the heartbreak part is the worse thing you could ever imagine ever have happened to you through out your entire existence. Trust me when I say it's not something you would want. I became a straight up ho-monger after my 1st heartbreak. I just wasn't trying to go through that again and I was like that for years afterwards. Being if you jump into a fast relationship after a heartbreak. You'll bring all that baggage and resentment to your next relationship.

We truly are not alone... my heartbreak turned to depression and to the point where I felt like I was dyingggggg. But that was also the point where I had to make that choice, whether or not to die in agony or get back up and make myself feel better. I chose the latter (cus I couldnt stand the pain). 2 years since, the torn in my heart is still there, but I am seeing the world in a more real and beautiful light... not the extremes of fantasy and nightmares... but simply for what it is. And just like Julia... my experience connected me with others and just being able to walk with people and understand that we are all in this together makes life so worth the while. There is something to be learnt from our current seasons no matter what it is... and those lessons will prepare us for the next (:

I really like this side of Julia where she talks about how she feels and stuff because usually in JKNews, we're always seeing her being all happy and expressive of her happy side and in between it also feels like she's learning when she's telling them about the news (with Bart and Joe's deep input/knowledge and the rest of the crew as well). So seeing Julia talk about personal things like these where she knows what she's talking about and the fact that she got so emotional shows that she cares about her friends to the point she relates so much - because she started crying and such. I don't know, I really liked seeing how mature she was in this and the rest of them are just like, dang, okay Hoolia, we see you, we feel you.

I feel like how much effort you put into a relationship and the feelings you develop for the person truly show when the relationship doesn't work out. That being said, when you are experiencing a heartbreak I think it's a good time to reflect because, you're more vulnerable and are more able to truly learn something during that time as a result of that pain lasting for a long time. So, erasing them to me is pointless, learning about my self and what I can do to be a better person and better partner is more important. I also really like Julia's story. I feel like that's key to getting better, knowing that there's someone who felt something very similar and they made it out just fine. It gives you hope, you know.

My first break lead me to depression for 7 months. It was so bad, you lose motivation and inspiration to do anything. Here's how I see it and let me know your opinion. The first few relationships that get serious most likely won't last. Statistically speaking you will have like 3-5 relationships before you find "the one" and even then divorce rate is around 50% so there's that. Anyway, I have the mindset going into a relationship that well since this is probably not going to last forever I'm not going to get too emotionally attached. Enough to be happy and make them happy and have a fun, meaningful relationship to learn from. But not so attached that my heart will shatter when things end between us. That's how I see it. Is that a fucked up way to view it? Or is that just really logical lol? Let me know what you think. Edit: After posting this I realized it's probably a defense mechanism. What are your thoughts?
@AntoineBandele8 жыл бұрын
Divorce rates are 50% mostly from second-third marriages, not the first.

Chanse I feel like if you have that mindset in a relationship then you're prone to not last because you're not giving them your all
@EmilyKSMusic8 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, a serious relationship will not last if you are not entirely emotionally available and vulnerable with your partner. If you are putting a cap on your emotions from the very beginning, of course your relationship will never progress or grow and is bound to fail. For fun, short, casual relationships this isn't a bad thing, but if you are trying to have a serious long term relationship, you will have to risk being 100% open/vulnerable and possibly getting your heart broken to really find deep long lasting love.
@Vincisomething8 жыл бұрын
Emily K I agree. if some part of you hides even 20% of how you feel, your emotions, or your thoughts- or you or them have to force it- it's not the one. Communication is key! If they're figuratively covering your ears and going "lalalalala" like a child, find someone who will actually sit with you or text you or call you depending on the distance. Also pay attention to how they listen or if they even acknowledge the problem. Or when you don't feel what they feel. for example, my ex and I kissed (now the thought revolts me) and he texted how much it knocked his socks off. I did not feel any of that- that even butterflies. Not even the first time we did. I was making myself believe it was OK to feel nothing.

the first girl i was with for about 5-6 years. she left and it took 3 years just to get over the sadness and then a few more to gain my confidence back to talk to women again. shes still in the back of my mind to this day.

Thank you so much Julia. This is real and raw emotion. No matter how long it has been, you will always be able to relate. It breaks your heart all over again, for the other person and for yourself. 😭💖😘😊

Julia deserves the best love of her life. She is so mature and sweet. It takes time for the heart to heal.
