Thing is proving something didn't happen is even harder than proving something did happen. Its VERY hard to prove SA happens and its even harder to prove an accuser is lying. The vast majority of SA cases aren't proven or disproven. Its only when these women officially recant or there is some overwhelming proof they lied, that you could work on charging it. Look at Jussie Smollet. Only because his accusation was so outlandish and specific could it be disproven. If he had kept it simple, there would be basically no way to definitively prove he made it all up. @@tamaraspencer4024 How do we know which of you are bearing false witness when your both just quoting things from the bible?
@tamaraspencer402427 күн бұрын
@skagenpige88 The ones who are bearing false witness will only quote certain things from the Bible but leave out other important related scriptures. For example in the comment I was replying to the person only pointed out the commandment about not lying but completely omitted the scripture that is specifically about forgiveness even though the question that was asked was about forgiveness and not whether it was okay to lie. People bearing false witness like to try to bastardize the Bible to their own liking. True Christians accept the Bible even the parts we don't like or the parts that are hard to do sometimes. As a victim of sexual assault, I want to scream no forgiveness but as a Christian I have to try. It's about who you serve, God or yourself.

There is a Bible verse about Forgiveness. Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." I'm not saying what that lady did was right and she should get away with it but forgiveness does take a weight off you. And our Heavenly father has forgiven us more times than we can count. Prayers for those men and the lady. 🙏

Falsely accusing people of felonies is a crime in and of itself, as is filing a false police report. They should be charged harshly.

I generally also don't think forgiveness is something to be seen as "adult" as our society has been set up to be exploited by those expecting forgiveness.
