I was homeless at one point and time. It was my husband, myself, and my dog. We were all living in one car along with all of our backpacks and things we had. But my homelessness wasn't because of drugs, or that I had gotten evicted. Although, with absolutely $0 in our pockets, deciding to leave all the stress away at home, we traveled in a car across the US during a pandemic. I have to say the trip definitely wasn't easy. Being on the streets you'd have to deal with a variety of obstacles: finding changes of clothes, CLEAN socks were such an issue and sometimes you'd have to resort to stealing food... Altogether with not being able to shower up until you panhandled for enough money to get a night's stay at a cheap motel.. It was hard to keep up hygiene, and I myself like to keep very clean when I can. Luckily we weren't without a car, so we were mobile fortunately safer with the whip than out on the street. But having to sleep in a car brought along a whole other set of issues- police, nosy people, and crackheads all at once, so my advice to anyone sleeping in their car right now - park and rides are your best friend. Don't stay at Walmart parking lots. You could either get kicked out or encounter people trying to rob you. Also, try to always carry around pepper spray with you just in case. I remember my husband ended up finding a job up in Sacramento, CA at a restaurant. The employer was so understanding about the situation, but get ready for a rough patch of 2 weeks. Unfortunately we weren't able to keep the job. But to all employers - give the homeless a chance. And to all people who might encounter someone asking for spare change - Don't be afraid to give. It could really help someone out, and in most cases that money isn't going directly to drugs or alcohol if its someone who actually wants the help. I am now writing this in my own house with my husband and dog. I have never felt more proud to have my own little spot. But I never forget all those people who helped me get through living in my car. I hope if you are reading this and you are considered homeless, remember to stay strong and don't give in. God bless whoever is reading this, stay safe!

Me and my partner actually came across a homeless guy that walked in the restaurant that we're eating. He went from table to table eating the leftovers. I felt so bad for him that i gave my partner 20 bux to go and buy him a proper decent meal. The smile on his face and just the happiness for him to get that one hot meal, just really makes it all worthwhile to be a human. God bless.

Never judge homeless/poor people. Few months ago in my country a homeless man stole baby food for his child, no food for him or for anybody else, for his child, he was starving. Seriously, the comments here are really mean and stupid, if you will see a poor/homeless man begging for food are you really not going to help? Think about his family if he has kids or something. The people in the end of the video did the right thing in my opinion. When I started my first job at 17 I didn’t have any money saved so for some lunch my dad would give me money for food. This one time I was coming out of my job when I saw an old homeless man eating out of the garbage. I picked up what he was eating and they were expired cupcakes. So I told him how he was doing and if he was hungry obviously he was I just wanted to engage in conversation first. So I took him to eat on my lunch break instead. 👍 Love all the people of the world. We are all experiencing this together.

I am currently experiencing a period of homelessness due to being unemployed from covid 19 and having no luck in finding a job. I have experienced another period of homelessness earlier this year and I am currently sleeping on the beach. Right now I am looking for a part time job to rely less on other people, and hoping for a healthier living experience. Upon finishing this year, I plan on going to community college and explore other programs before applying to universities. These donations would help me pay for food, clothes, basic necessities, and medical bills. First of all thank you. Its very meaningful. Good work guys. This kind of video should be posted more. Theres no diff. Between the poor and rich, we share same food, we eat, we sleep, we need loves, we all one. Imagine this, if that homeless person is your cousin, your uncle, your brother, your dad or your grandpa. We just dont know nothing about his journey life. Each person has their own struggles, we should help them more. Respect them love them more. Give him a ride to the mall. but actually he didn't know where he was going, fucking us around and was trying to steal things in the back seat of our car. There's a homeless guy that washes windows outside of a grocery store I go to. I always give him my spare change when I see him and we talk about sports a lot. Last time I saw him, he said he finally found a place to stay. I had 40 bucks in my wallet and I was originally going to put it into my savings account, but I gave it to him. I know it wasn't much and he even said its too much, you put that in the bank. I laughed and said I was actually planning on doing that, but think of it as a gift for new beginnings. I haven't seen him since, so I hope he is doing well

Once when I went shopping in some random shop alone, I saw this homeless guy, he just went in the shop to get some food, but he could barely buy any, so I gave him some of my pocket money for some food. I was raised to help others, when ever my family sees someone who can't pay for their stuff, we'd always walk over and pay the rest for them. :) I'm 13 and Danish btw. :)

Young King Its not about the burger, its about the fact that these people did protect what they were asked for and agreed with. If you would ask a stranger to watch your bike, because you forgot the lock and you need to go toilet very bad.
