I grew up in Perth, and it's crazy how connected everyone is. It literally is such a small place. My mum grew up in Willagee, her highschool boyfriend used to walk their dogs when they went "camping" Also Kate did more than just leave little notes, she shoved her bank cards in couch cushions and in mattresses, and tried to leave any sign of herself wherever she could. One other really clever thing she did (which my mum told me to do if I ever got abducted, lol) was when then Birnies asked her to write a letter to her family, she said that she would be "seeing -blank- very soon". I can't remember the name, but it was the name of a dead family dog, so she was trying to subtly tell them she was in danger.

My favorite version of the theme song so far. Before it was fun to see her make it unique each time just by nature of the fact that she sang it herself. Maybe it felt small to everyone else but it was so fun for me to see how she was feeling when she was recording. I totally understand that she had the right to take it away for what ever her reason was, no judgement, but seeing her bring it back without fanfare or emphasis just makes me happy for her for some reason 😊

Poor Australia. Criminals were sent to Australia via ship (perceived and actual criminals) from European countries (mainly England). The indigenous people who already called that land home ( same as what they did with America) were killed off and pushed into the bush. Unfortunately again the rich decided they wanted something and they took it, but what they did to Australia was setting it up for failure at that time. Now here tell it's one of the most beautiful places to see and people r friendly and accommodating. I've never been but bucket list. unfortunately, there are many stories like this all over the world and we as humans have to be more vigilant to stop it. Yes, there are police and other authorities that can be called upon, but if u as a human see another human (and it's safe for you to do so) help and believe what they are telling you. I'd rather look like a fool later should it turn out to b bs rather than not believe and a person I could have saved from this kind of harm really be in danger.

This is wild but my ex dated Catherine’s grandaughter. Together they stole my kids for a total of 4 days. Citing that I was a danger to them (which was not true and I ended up with sole custody because of that). Both my exs girlfriend and her mother tried to convince me to drop the custody case (which I obviously couldn’t as I had to get a recovery order for the childrens return which had to be heard further in court) and when I refused they started a campaign to “get” me. Luckily my restraining order against my ex stopped that fast but gee I had a few phone calls and visit’s from them and I would say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree….

Hi! Could you do a story on Marc Dutroux? He's by far the most hated creature in Belgium, and I'm pretty sure everyone in Belgium knows about him. He locked up kids in his basement (and kidnapped them with his van), after spending time in prison already for similar things, and even spent time in prison while keeping kids in his basement. During his imprisonment, his wife let the kids starve to death. There were plenty of times where he should've been caught, and his wife recently got out. One of the girls (Sabine Dardenne) who survived, wrote a book about it, called 'I choose to live' in English. The literal translation of the Dutch title is 'I was 12 and drove my bike to school'. Belgium doesn't have the death penalty, and life in prison usually means people get 30 years, but I doubt he would ever get out, just for his own safety. I would understand this case might be a bit too brutal or too excessive to cover (because he was able to continue for far too long). However, I've known about this case my whole life, and only recently found out it was even worse than I thought, and I still don't know any background on him and his wife, and how they could've become such evil people.

I agree, Ivan absolutely fascinates me ! I have a book in his cross examination transcript, I find it extremely interesting how Ivan tried to say the cops framed him, like putting the gun in the hole in the wall or just happens to find some of the victims property like one of thier water bottles🙄🤣 But, you also read how he nearly slips up. I think the crux of that is he wanted to maintain control. Even though he never truly confessed, then dies of throat cancer is very sweet karma I also 100000% believe there's a lot more then just the known 7 victims! Belanglo is a big place. I am also curious if Bailey would think Ivan did all the crimes by himself, or if his brother Richard helped with some of them. Then the fact he also supposedly got his brother Boris's wife pregnant, as well had a relationship with sister. There's a lot to unpack but yess we definitely need a Ivan Milat video!!
